I never encountered any experiences with any cities, until I got a parking ticket from the City of Newport Beach. The instruction to file the appeals is a mystery to me. Nobody, at the Newport Beach can help to to file my paperwork for a Court Appearance, until I spoke with Lauryne, a new employee at the Revenue Department. Most of the people only helps you the way they talk." Sorry I can't help or I don't know" then direct you to go different department. But with Lauryn, I believe she is working in this period of pandemic difficult time using her heart. She is new to the job, but willing to search and help me to solve my problem. I gave her 5 stars because she is new to her job also her using her heart with a good Karma in helping people. I'm lucky to know her and more important to know there are still peoples with a good heart in America. Keep...

The newfangled Newport Beach Civic Center is located at the City Hall Complex. When it was built several years ago, it was and still is a state of the art facility! The beautiful natural landscape outside is meticulously maintained and is well worth a visit in itself! Conveniently located between Pacific Coast Highway and Fashion Island business, the setting is a great place for indoor and outdoor functions, gatherings, meetings and enjoyment! It shares the large parking structure, restrooms and common areas as the Newport Beach City Hall. A stroll thru the gardens, park and sculpture’s tops off a nice...

If I could give this City a negative rating I would. If you plan on submitting plans for a project make sure you go FIRST THING IN THE MORNING so you can be the first in line otherwise you will be there over 3 hours waiting for the code engineer because they are always understaffed. By the way I have seen the code engineer slowly walk all over the place, no plans in hand, gone to the restroom like 3 times, and just staring around within the 2:40 min I’ve been here so far. I wonder if that’s the reason it...
