I highly NOT RECOMMENDED. The service was horrible! Very unprofessional team. They don’t know how to provide better service in terms of providing accommodation or options instead they rather stick with their standard not being flexible enough to understand if it is special case. We bring visitors to visit the restaurant and they humiliate us and judge us by the look. I used to work in a 5 star hotel and dealing with international businesses excellent is a goal not perfection. In terms of service it is so important to provide a professional manners. I may say that the team attitudes are stuck up and not classy enough because they treated us with very bad manners from the receptionist, floor staffs to the manager except the kitchen. I may say that improvement is needed to achieve. They are “VERY RUDE” team. It doesn’t mean if your restaurant is in a good location can be called professional if manners have no class still it is consider a LOW class behavior which is bad. Remember that the comments we provide is according to what we experience. Dealing with business is totally ONLY business and nothing is personal attachment provided. I have no high expectations but as a customer we deserve to be treated fairly in business. We not causing problems and we drove and brought our visitors from Arizona just to experience the restaurant but unfortunately it was SUCKS. We expecting that we can enjoy our dinner; as a consumer we like to eat and leave with a good meal and experience the best in your menu but we failed to do so. The comments that I provided here is just accurate statement according to what I experience. Your company is base in US not even further yet all over the world, unlike 5 stars hotels they maintain worldwide class services as known of excellent service providers of good team spirit. We provide quality service to our customers and take the complaints seriously to correct what’s wrong in order to make a better change to improve our quality of service and products. The goal is to grow and maintain a good mark in service industry. To grow the business providing good SERVICE is a key to SUCCESS. Humiliating us is only pulling us away. It is not helping at all this only create bad image. The goal is to excel and grow. Business is a competitions, if you lose customers you also lose profits. Customers always have a choice to go to the other restaurant that can provide them a better quality service. It is your lose not ours. One of the reason why the business did not make it? it is because lack of knowledge and helping hands. No team work no success. In my opinion It is bad to the owner if there’s no team work and their sacrifice of building the company goes to trash only. Employees should have better management. The profits provided from your customers paid well to all team and boss. So it is better do a good job that’s a business culture. Bad experiences lead your clients of not going back again. How can you create such good reputation in a company if your staff are lack of training. I guess improvement is needed on how to be welcoming individuals instead of judging the customer by their looks? And if every family who have 2 years old crying baby have to be kick off you will only lose a chance of making businesses to every family who have kids. How many population of family inside this country think about it…instead of understanding don’t be rude. It is normal that all babies cries right? and it is out of the parent control if they cry. Common sense baby can’t talk and have a swing mood. All kids are different and unpredictable. The management should better provide options instead. Like crayons or offered a corner table or outside patio just to keep your customers happy and leave in your restaurant with a good experience? Customers are like adds they can ran like advertised how’s the experience in such situations of business. Again it’s business you want to improve and grow not being horrible team to us. POOR SERVICE! I wish there will be improvements...
Read moreThe Worst Birthday Dinner Experience
I wish I could write a glowing review about my recent birthday dinner at Gulfstream, but unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of a disaster. For context, this was meant to be a special occasion—I’ve been celebrating my birthdays at Gulfstream for the past 15 years and have always had wonderful experiences. This year, however, was a major disappointment. We had a 6 PM reservation that had been booked more than a month in advance. Given we were coming from LA, we proactively called at 3 PM to inquire about shifting the reservation to 6:30 PM due to potential traffic delays. We were reassured on the phone that it wouldn’t be a problem. Despite our best efforts, we arrived at 6:42 PM due to traffic, only to be told by the host, Tatum, that our table had been released. What followed was a lack of communication, professionalism, and an utter disregard for customer service. We were directed to wait on the patio with a drink and were informed it would take 30-40 minutes for the next table to become available. Though disappointed, we agreed and tried to be patient. After 65 minutes passed, my daughter went inside to follow up about our table. Shockingly, we were told it would be an additional 25-35 minutes. At that point, we gave up and opted to take a spot at the bar, even though it was extremely loud and made it impossible to hold a conversation. Roughly 15 minutes later, a high-top table in the bar area opened up. We approached the host stand once again to request the table, and this was nearly 90 minutes after we had originally arrived for our reservation. Eventually seated, we placed our order and settled in with the hope things would improve moving forward. Unfortunately, the service and considerations during the meal were just as disappointing. I ordered the Seared Tuna Salad, while my husband had the Chopped Salad, along with drinks. When my husband didn’t finish his salad, he asked for a box to take it home, but instead, it was thrown out by mistake. To make matters worse, the manager on duty, Eric, stopped by our table with little more than a quick “sorry” for the unacceptable delays and poor experience. No solution, no real apology, no acknowledgment of how upsetting the evening had been for us. By the time we finished our meal, we were offered dessert for my birthday. However, at that point, I couldn’t wait to leave. Instead, we went across the street to Rothschild’s, where we salvaged the evening with espresso martinis and dessert. What stings the most is how Gulfstream has been a part of my birthday tradition for the past 15 years. During the pandemic, my family even supported the restaurant with takeout orders. To walk away feeling neglected, dismissed, and completely unappreciated as a loyal customer was heartbreaking. Needless to say, I will not be returning anytime soon. If Gulfstream values its regular customers, they need to overhaul their reservation policies, improve internal communication, and train their staff on how to offer genuine hospitality. For a restaurant I once held in high regard, this experience was nothing short of...
Read moreGulfstream is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. You can count on good, quality food, friendly and professional service, a great atmosphere, and excellent cocktails.
I've been here a few times for lunch and dinner, and after my recent stellar experience was compelled to write a review. My husband and I came for a (rare) date night a few weeks ago and upon walking into the bustling restaurant about 30 minutes before our actual reservation, we decided to try our luck in the bar in hopes of having a drink or two before we were seated. We found a spot at the very end of the bar and when we made it there I simply figured that given the crowd and where we were situated, it may take a few moments to get the bartender's attention and actually get a drink. Boy was I wrong! The moment we walked up to the bar, Dennis was ready to serve us. I couldn't believe how quickly he greeted us! He gave me a great drink recommendation and proceeded to make me,hands down, the best Greyhound I have ever had (the fresh squeezed grapefruit really makes it over the top) and a delicious Old Fashioned for my husband. Some time later we managed to find a spot to sit at the bar and just as I was taking the last sip of my drink, Dennis was quick to offer another. I couldn't believe how attentive he was with the bar area being absolutely full of people! On top of his prompt service, he was also incredibly friendly and you could truly tell that he loves what he does and is passionate about his craft. When we were approached to be seated, he transferred our tab over to our table with no problem.
We had a delicious meal complete with some excellent appetizers and entrees (steak for my husband and a bbq shrimp for me) with a server who was also very professional, attentive, and informed about the menu options.
I also love the open kitchen in the restaurant and the large booths - they are comfortable and offer a nice amount of privacy, keeping you from being elbow to elbow with other diners.
Gulfstream remains my gold standard for a quality dining and night-out experience. As a working mom with a Toddler, I don't often get to enjoy a night out and the premier service at Gulfstream (particularly from people like Dennis), on top of the exquisite food and drinks, are just what I need on a date night. My husband and I have frequented Gulfstream for many years and will most certainly continue to do so.
Thanks Gulfstream for a...
