I have been a loyal customer of PJ, my amazing hairdresser, for over a year now, and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with her exceptional skills and professionalism. PJ is truly a master of her craft, and every visit to her salon leaves me feeling like a million bucks!

From the moment I stepped into PJ's salon, I was greeted with warmth and a friendly smile. Her attention to detail and ability to listen to her clients' needs is truly commendable. My first review was 5 stars - if you are a first time customer, they tend to you. But do not come here for consecutive visits. I have very thick hair and wanted the balayage toned out .. long story short it took 2 visits and 3 glosses to get the hair color I wanted. After the first gloss my hair looked exactly the same .. so I was told to come back later in the week (free of charge) for a color correction. So, I come back.. I get two glosses because the first gloss looked the same .. again I have very thick hair. After the second gloss I’m told “I don’t have time to blow dry your hair, we are very busy”. I saw multiple clients get the full treatment, compliments from other hairdressers. So, my hair dresser sent me out of the salon with soaking wet hair, in 40 degree weather, not knowing what the color looked like. I was so upset, called the manager after I left and was told by the receptionist “I’m sorry you have the wrong place, this is a hair salon”. So I say, yes I was just there, may I please talk to the manager. “I’m sorry we don’t do manicures”. I hang up, more frustrated and call back. I finally get the manager, Dominique, who listened to my concerns. I was offered free services but after the way I was treated there is no way to remedy that. After my experience, I cannot recommend this place. I took down my original 5 star review to write this poor review .. no one should go to a salon for a color correction apt and leave with sopping wet hair and be told “I don’t have time to blow dry your hair”, so I had no idea how my hair turned out leaving the salon. Thankfully it ended up the color I wanted, but no one should go through this type of pricey experience and be treated as such....

La Beautique is an incredible salon! Not only have I been coming here to get my hair cut for the past two years and am always extremely happy with the outcome, but they made planning a wedding during COVID so much less stressful! After amazing haircuts, I hired La Beautique to do my hair and make up for my wedding in Sept. 2020. In May of 2020, we decided to postpone our wedding to Sept. 2021. At that time, La Beautique was amazing and was able to make our new date work. In Feb. 2021, we decided to cancel and just have a small ceremony. We were not expecting our retainer fee back from any venue and did not ask for it; I simply informed La Beautique that we would not be getting married and I appreciated all of their support and contact throughout the last year. Dominique immediately responded at how sorry she was we had to cancel our wedding and was so sympathetic to our situation. However, the most incredible thing was that she reimbursed the retainer fee. This may sound like a small action, but of all of our vendors, she was one of only two that offered to return the retainer fee we had paid. For a small business to have willingly offered to return this money after going through COVID is just an amazing gesture and truly speaks volumes of Dominique and the La Beautique Salon. They truly go above and beyond for their clients and always put the client first, even during difficult times. They are truly an...
