The Story House is a charming little black box theatre with a perfect, candlelit intimate atmosphere in which audience members can fully immerse themselves in the compelling performances that Amy Kern-Smith and her teams produce. With the genius partnership of the family-owned Cafe Bienville next door, all guests can laugh, cry, and feel a deep impact all with popcorn and wine and friends at their sides. With Niceville growing the way that it is and people begging for more things to do, The Story House is the perfect place to make plans for a show. Seeing a show here was the perfect date for my boyfriend and I.

The original show "The Drop of a Hat" is an accurate look into the hearts, minds, and relationships of four friends just figuring things out, together, through the good, the bad, and the ugly. This show will no doubt leave you both impressed and extremely emotional with its professional production, beautiful soundtrack, and clever script writing. Anyone who goes to see it will surely be asking afterwards, "Would I truly want to rewrite my story?" This new performing arts location is really quaint and fun for a night on the town in Niceville! The performance of the play, “Art” was well done and hilarious! We brought our own snacks and drinks and they have tables which makes it nice to eat and drink while you enjoy the show.
