Chapala Authentic Mexican Restaurant and Grill Niceville — Restaurant in Niceville

Went to Chapala in NICEVILLE, Fl., HUGE mistake. They didn't have enough servers and there were lots of dirty tables. My husband ordered steak fajitas, and it wasn't even a full order. I ordered the pork carnitas, which I always get at Mexican restaurants. There were literally NO chunks of pork at all. It was a mush of FAT, literally! I only detected some very tiny bits of meat attached to some of the fat! Seriously, I was not exaggerating, I was completely shocked at what I was served. I've had their pork carnitas many times before and loved them. This was crazy, I couldn't believe it made it out of the kitchen. My server obviously didn't pay attention to what she was serving me, or she'd have refused it in the kitchen! I called another server over, and she quickly said, "There's no chunks of meat!". She immediately saw only a bunch of mushy fat mixed in onions. I was shocked the cook even sent this to my table! They asked if I wanted to reorder or get something else, so I chose a Steak Torta. I honestly think whoever was working the kitchen needs to be fired, when I opened up the bread on the torta, which is a Mexican sandwich, to put jalapeno in it, there was a short curly black hair placed in the very center on top of the ingredients of the Torta. I was so mad I got up and took the sandwich over to the server myself. It was a short curly black hair and came from the kitchen because it was IN the sandwich!!! I couldn't help but wonder if it wasn't there on purpose for sending back the other plate, and to top it off, it looked like a pubic hair!!! So, of course, I didn't trust ordering anything else!!! I watched my husband finish eating his food. We used to love this place. We will NEVER go back now. A place like this shouldn't even be in Niceville. When we walked in we didn't get a welcome just a how many. Then she said follow me and put the menus on the table and walked away. A guy with chips and salsa came and we greeted him and said thank you but he didn't even respond just turned and left. Server came over and we got water while we looked over the menu. He came back moments later and we ordered drinks then he left to put in that order. When he returned with the drinks we still needed a few moments for our order so he left but he never returned. We waited and saw that he got another table that was big so we saw he was busy. We waited 10min but he still did not returned. So we got up and went to the front station to see about getting our ticket and so but two servers looked at us and never approached us. By this time I was over it. Finally a women came and we explained what happened and while she printed the ticket our waiter finally came out and we finished paying with him but he said no words to us. "Authentic"..what a disgusting place to eat...this was the worst $72 for dinner my wife and I have spent on "Authentic" Mexican. We order 2 for 1 house margaritas with no alcohol at all and way over flavored to hide the fact they scam you out of alcohol. Following that, it was a chour to get a basket of tortillas. We ordered 3 corn tacos carne asada and lingua and 1 enchilada with steak. With not anyone else in the restaurant, it still took over 20 minutes to receive our dishes. Once we started eating, it lacked any flavor. The meat portions were slivers of dry and were poorly prepared. the rice was crunchy, and the beans were crusty on our plates when delivered. We weren't checked on until we asked for another margarita, which still lacked ANY alcohol. We asked for the check and was met with an additional charge of $4 for not paying with cash that wasn't notified of prior to how we would like to pay.
