Turkey Creek Walk — Attraction in Niceville

Nice boardwalk stroll along a creek. Multiple docks along the way to take a swim if desired. Creek relatively shallow. First half is close to the roadway so there is a bit of noise. Quiets down as you go. Path is almost exactly a mile long, so good for exercise walkers that wasn't a set distance. Boards along the way in fairly good shape. No missing ones or big holes. Came down to visit my son at Elgin and this will be a forever stop for us now. This is just an all around great place beautiful walk and river tubing perfect entertainment for the kids and it’s free! On top of it all The park rangers were super friendly and helpful and the pavilion was beautiful and immaculately kept. This place was a ton of fun, but for me the walk was almost not worth the float. In order to go again, it's almost a mile - which normally I wouldn't mind but it has been incredibly hot.
