I went and ordered some food to go. The waitress, after changing trash bags, didn't wash hands and grabbed the to go containers for my bacon and hashbrowns. Hand washing is important in restaurants and should be done often. With my hashbrowns I ordered them to have chili, jalapeños, and cheese. The cheese was barely melted but I could make it past that. The issue was the chili. It was extremely dehydrated and clumpy rather than moist. Unable to be used on the food. The waitress didn't change the ticket and was gonna charge for the chili anyway, she might have forgot or something but still, accidental charges are still no good. I didn't say anything cause the waitress seemed emotional, I could see self inflicted cuts and scars all up her arms. I know people have their own personal problems and ways they deal with things but the company should honestly have a policy against such things being seen on an employee. It promotes bad ideas and adds normalcy to a bad habit. Not to mention potentially open cuts or scabs from them dropping blood or scabs into food. Long sleeves should be worn with stuff like that. But I paid for the ticket for hashbrowns and bacon and didn't even eat the hashbrowns. I only eat it with the chili. Without was a deal breaker in me eating it. Won't...
Read moreBelow average Waffle House. It used to be one of our most favorite locations. However, not sure what happened lately but their overall quality have dropped noticeably. Of course nobody goes to a Waffle House and expects a 5 star service, because it's impossible and it's a fact. 😊 Nonetheless, in the past when we come in we were at least given a set of utensils and when our dishes arrive we're asked if we want anything else. Our last visit we had to ask for everything forks, knives, plates, ketchup, creamer for our coffee... Our eggs were overcooked, hashbrowns were burnt. I think this place has gone down drastically. We never had such experience before at any Waffle House anywhere. Make matters worse we had literally flies flying around our table as we were eating. Then again it's not something super unusual by Waffle House standards, but in past we only had an experience with ants at Waffle House. 😄 Anyway, it's either I expected too much from this WH location (since it was our most favorite location) or they're in fact stopped caring and went downhill. Perhaps, now it's time to move on and find us a new favorite...
Read moreFirst shift is amazing. They're fast and efficient. I love how they still keep it kind of classic with the Jukebox. And they give you a variety of music to enjoy. Second shift is all right. I've not really gone to Waffle House that many times for 2nd shift. But third shift find themselves a little distracted. If you've known them for a little while I feel that the servers / waitresses feel that it's necessary to not come to you as much because they just believe that you're okay because they supposedly know who you are because you've been there a couple of times. I believe that customer service comes with friendly conversation but not so much as it gets into your own personal life. The food is pretty good when you can get it cook the way that you want it. Now I know that Waffle House offers a variety of different ways to cook a few items but somehow they can't master the art of grits. They are either too runny are extremely dry and chunky. There's never really a middle. But for the most part it's a pretty clean place and the waitresses are pretty friendly. I just think that the Cook's need to step up their...
