We had a Mac that died so instead of taking it to a certified Apple tech in Pensacola, I thought I would do business locally and try Happy Computers. I called ahead of time to confirm they could fix Macs. They said yes. They had the computer for 3 months and still couldn't fix it. To make matters worse, there was never any communication from anyone at this place. I had to call weekly to get an update and there was never a clear explanation of what the issue was or how long it would take for the repair. After 3 months of frustration and still not working, we took it to Tech Advanced Computers in Pensacola and they had it fixed in a week. They communicated with us every step of the way. We will never go back to Happy Computers for anything. The worse customer service I've ever experienced. They are nice people but don't seem to care about customer communication. I usually don't like to leave harsh reviews, but wanted to share our experience. Take your Macs to a certified Apple...
Read moreZERO communication. The guy said it he would call me in 1-2 days and give me an update. He did not, so I called him before lunch on the third day. He said "I'll call you back after lunch". He did not. I called again on the sixth day. He was upset that I called. On the 14th day, ZERO communication the entire time, I picked up the computer out of frustration with this company. I initiated ALL communication with them. He doesn't understand that my expectations are set from what he tells me. This situations reeks of an intelligent guy that is great with computers, but has no clue how to interact with people. They have a receptionist that can call people to give them updates AS THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD DO. I like the idea of supporting a small, locally owned business but I WILL NEVER GO BACK. The computer was not fixed and...
Read moreI went there with my custom PC, I got it back nearly a month later and pointed out the problem and I'm giving them 4 stars because of fixing my comp! But here's a few things that would be better: Communication, i suck at communication but it makes it easier if they updated their website for progress reports and try leaving voicemails. 2.Time, my problem was actually relatively easy (my pc had a broken hard drive port but i have a second, still have the broken 2nd port) I did expect a bit better for $100 dollars Cash, remember that statement for the $100? Thats just to look at it, wish they were cheaper if the repair was small like mine.
My intention is not to fully criticize but I do wish they worked on these three aspects to make their...
