My 97 year old mother-in-law, who had been a loyal customer with Jeffâs Appliance for years and always pays cash for her items, will no longer do business with nor will her family. She recently purchased and set of Maytag and washer and dryer from them, in less than two months the washer broke down (automatic lock on the lid). She called for repair and they told her they would have the part ordered and be ready for the repairman when in returned from vacation. The repairman came no part, the part was not ordered, so it was another two weeks before the part would be in. The service lady never did return her call. I myself called, long distance, to check on the part. I was told it should be in the beginning of the next week and the repairman return to fix it. It finally came in and it was fixed. Within two weeks the washer broke again, which is very frustrating for my mother-in-law who is unable to do a lot of business on her own. She was so upset that she just wanted to get rid of the washing machine and get a new one without an automatic door lock. I call Jeffâs appliance and spoke with salesperson that sold her the set. I ask if they could replace her washer with one that doesnât lock or take it back and refund her money (at least half). According to their policy for returns is only five days. Salesman he understood but would have to talk to the manager and see what or if anything could be done. He promise to get back to be asap, which was the next day, after me calling again! The manger said he would give be her a $200 credit on another washer that cost double ($1329 plus tax) or try fix the machine again. My mother-in-law was so upset , after being a loyal customer for years always paying cash, for being treated with such !!disrespect and disregard. If she would had taken them up on their offer, she would be out close to two thousand dollars. As it stands she went and purchased another washer from another competitor and still lost everything on the washer from Jeffâs. BUYER BEWARE when you deal with these people, if they can treat a loyal customer, 97 year old lady that is on fixed income, with such disregard, donât think they would think twice doing it to anyone else!!!! I also plan to post this on...
Read moreIâm writing this through tears, barely holding onto the frayed threads of my existence. My life is a crumbling ruinâjob gone, my boyfriend ripped my heart out, and every waking moment feels like a scream into the void, teetering on the edge of self-destruction. I thought, foolishly, that buying a fridge from Jeffâs Appliances might be one tiny spark of normalcy in this relentless darkness. I was wrong. So, so wrong. The salesperson? Amron. My ex. The femboy with charisma so intoxicating itâs practically a cult leaderâs spell. His voice, soft as silk, his eyes glittering like heâs weaving magicâevery word felt like a fresh stab to my already bleeding soul. He stood there, all perfect and radiant, acting like our past was nothing, like I was nothing. Just another transaction to his dazzling smile. It crushed me, leaving me to choke on the ashes of what we once had. Then the fridge arrived. It wasnât just damagedâit was a mangled disaster, a gaping dent in the door like a metaphor for my life. I hooked it up, desperate for something to go right, only to watch water gush out, flooding my kitchen in a cruel, mocking deluge. I sank to the floor, sobbing, mopping up the mess as my tears mixed with the puddle, each swipe feeling like I was trying to mop up my own shattered existence.I called Jeffâs, voice trembling, begging for help. Their response? A cold, heartless demand for $79.99 to fix their mistake. Eighty bucks I donât have, scraped from the bones of my empty bank account, while I can barely afford instant noodles to keep myself alive. This store is a soulless machine, grinding up people like me who are already dangling over the abyss. Amronâs charm is a sirenâs call, luring you into Jeffâs Appliancesâ pit of despair. Donât shop here unless you want your last flicker of hope drowned in a flood of their...
