I just want everyone to be careful with your valuables if you need to pawn them at American pawn in Alameda Square I had no complaint until recently and others like me have gone to pawn a valuable item only to be greeted by a disheveled older gentleman who cares little for himself as by his appearance, temperament, body odor, lack of ideal hygiene or general hygiene, everytime I see this man is the same and some customer is getting no empathy towards the fact they have to pawn their valuables die to financial hardship and he could care less brings the customer down to the lowest he can disgracing then for the object they chose explaining there's no need for the item they brought and giving them so low of a price you can see the stress in every customer cause their needs weren't meant and they are told what they have is worthless SO SAD it's not easy having to put yourself threw all that mess GOLDEN RULE will never let you leave feeling so defeated with your head down not satisfied and treated like there is something wrong with you and your stuff is junk pathetic take the warning I don't believe in gossip or lying to be vindictive I want to help others no go threw a bad experience and have to deal with such negativity and treated like they and they valuables are worthless take care friends and...

He arrived at 2 and the manager at the register didn't greet him but said someone would be up momentarily. Another person came to the register and asked how she could help him and whenever he requested the veterans day special she refused to honor the special due to to fact it had ended 1 minute prior to his request!!
