DANCING CRAB — Restaurant in Norman

Oh my lanta! This was our first trip to this restaurant, and will NOT be our last! We placed an order for pickup (we live in Purcell), not only was the order exceptionally fast to come out, the inside is so clean and open! The service was great! Kind and welcoming staff. On to the FOOD! We are a family of three (two adults and a toddler who eats like a grown man) so I expected to get two “entrees” to feed us all. We decided on the #3 with an added pound of crawfish and sausage (wasn’t sure the little would eat the seafood). We got a bag of food that easily weighed 5#! When we got home and opened everything we were in awe with how much we got (for $61 I expected that but WOW)! The shrimp was a little overdone but we also drove 30 mins back home before eating it. Everything was PIPING HOT still. The crab cluster was perfectly cooked and sweet. The crawfish were Devine and perfectly cooked. The sausage knocked it out of the park. The shrimp were so full of flavor (as was everything else) and HUGE! The corn and potatoes were even impressive af! We got the #3 with garlic butter seasoning and the rest with Cajun (all mild for the little) and ALL OF IT WAS FIRE! I would give a 10/5 if I could (and I’m quite picky about those ratings)! Super impressed and happy with the quality and quantity of food! I was pleasantly surprised. The food seasoning was on point and it was not too salty. The only complaint I had about the food was that the crabs I was given seemed to be scraps….I ordered a lb of snow crabs and I was given one whole cluster and a raggedy cluster that was missing 3 legs 🥴. 1lb of snow crabs are 2 COMPLETE clusters. I added a video clip of it and photos of it. Then it was one broken random leg that was separated. Speaking of what I ordered, I order combo #5 with a half lb of crawfish. I haven’t eaten crawfish in years and for some reason I was craving it. Which is what led me to finding this place to begin with. If your group consists of 7 or more ppl, you have to make reservations according to the paper taped to their front door. The seasoning I got was Cajun and garlic butter. I ordered hush puppies to go for my husband and I forgot to take a picture of it prior to him eating it up 😆. All in all, I will definitely be back. Casual dining; and Quite wonderful variety of steamed, boiled, and fried seafood. Homemade onion rings were very good, crispy, thick cut; just needed a tad more salt. Half pound of shrimp (heads off) boiled/steamed inside large plastic bag with 1/2 ear of corn and 1 small/whole potato; served in large silver plate/tray, plenty of extra space for shrimp shells. Medium size shrimp; perfectly cooked, not a single rubbery bite. I chose not to use the 3 flavoring options for my shrimp, and needed a little salt. Delicious fried shrimp and fries, served in paper-lined plastic basket; again cooked crispy and just right. Delicious cocktail sauce. Personal plastic bib/disposable towelette for keeping things neat. Good service, drinks refilled promptly. Looked like a full bar available. Spacious, bright, clutter-free dining room. Tables lined with white paper. Metal flatware, plastic soda/water beverage cups. Clean restroom. TVs for sports fans. Easy parking. Tucked in a rather hidden part of the shopping center. This was a...
