We wonât be back. And thatâs a shame, because we really love the products. Tldr: the big boss needs to treat his customers with respect.
We bought two outdoor rockers and were considering several other piecesâa grey dining table set, a bedroom set. We even picked up one of their beautiful cutting boards (too pretty to use!) Iâd been raving to friends and family about this place, and had my eye on the motorcycle rocking horse for my new nephew.
Unfortunately, the issue was with Robert, the boss.
We were trying to coordinate delivery of the rockers. After two months of silence, Robert said in order to reduce the delivery fee from 180 to 50 it had to be delivered before noon today. We replied that we wouldnât be home until 1-ish, or were available all day tomorrow. He said today âmight workâ but that he needed to âsee how the morning goes.â And that was the last we heard.
Next contact was from delivery guys, Noah and Chris - already at our gate. We were surprised, but told them they could leave the chairs in the driveway and weâd be home shortly. Since we had a balance due (half on order, half on delivery), we offered to swing by the store and pay the balance right away.
But they had to call Robert, who insisted they bring the chairs back. So we went to the store. But no one there could decide anything without calling Robert. I asked to speak with him directly. I explained we never got confirmation on a delivery time. His tone was curt and annoyedâlike we were the problem.
Since we were now at the store, we offered to just take the chairs in our suv if heâd refund the $50 delivery fee. He refused. Not sure why heâd hold on to the fee for a bungled delivery âespecially on a $1,300 purchase. Also not sure why he was upset with us and was taking this tone. So I asked, âDo you want our continued business?â And he replied, âI donât care.â
Well, alrighty then. There are plenty of other options at these prices.
To be clear: Weâd give 5 stars to Noah, who had a great sense of humor and patience today, to Robertâs wife, who walked us through all the beautiful furniture on previous visits, and to the young woman at the counterâeveryone was friendly and kind.

   Read moreI'm not sure how I feel. We got a customized peice and were told it could take up to 10 weeks to recieve. Understandable, as it is handmade. However, we are now on week 11 and we never recieved a call or anything from the company letting us know they hadn't forgot about us. We haven't recieved the product and we only heard some possible places it could be only after we physically went to the store to ask them. We called a couple times before and they said they would call us back but never did. I'm hoping we get it soon and it is as beautiful as I imagine. It's a lot of money to spend for us and not hearing anything about it for so long is quite daunting.
Update: We did get a call shortly after this review and got our furniture. It wasn't exactly what I ordered and they said they would make it right but we ended up loving it and keeping it the way it was given. I probably wouldn't get a custom piece here again as I did feel like it was a bit cumbersome to reach someone for help and that definitely needs improvement and they also didn't get the order correct. But I would buy in store if they already have the piece and I could see it. It is definitely quality craftsmanship. The customer service does need...
