As someone who frequented both the old and new ownership of Devil Dogs, I can confidently say that the recent changes have been nothing short of remarkable. Under the new ownership, this walk-up hot dog joint has undergone a significant transformation, both in terms of service and menu offerings.
The enthusiasm of the new owner is palpable, and their eagerness to please customers is evident from the moment you step up to the counter. The service is quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for them.
But the improvements don't stop there. The menu has been revamped, offering a wider variety of options that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a classic chili cheese dog or something more adventurous like a pb&j -topped creation, Devil Dogs has you covered.
One of the most refreshing aspects of Devil Dogs is its commitment to staying true to its roots while also embracing innovation. Despite the upgrades, it still retains the charm and simplicity of a classic hot dog joint, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite on the go.
And let's not forget about their social media presence. With a good presence on TikTok, Devil Dogs is not only keeping up with the times but also engaging with a younger audience in a fun and interactive way.
Overall, Devil Dogs is a shining example of how a beloved local establishment can evolve and thrive under new ownership. I'm thrilled to see that it's still around, and I can't wait to see what delicious creations they come...
Read moreI never usually leave a review at places, but these people deserve the review. Had to walk back from my mechanics and saw them on the way back. The old owners were awesome but these guys are amazing.
I had 4 dogs so far: The Mac and Cheese Dog The Loaded Potato Dog Dance with the Devil Speak of the Devil Dog
All 4 of them have been awesome in my experience. Don't listen to the 1-star review in all honesty in my opinion. The dogs I had were great. Loaded with toppings that were not overpowering the others. The selection of toppings I can add to is massive, Ist time I came here I went crazy with that. The Mac and Cheese Dog is made with actual Mac and Cheese, not fake Mac like some people use. The spicy dog was great, I am a huge spice lover so that is likely my go-to dog. It isn't killing your mouth but it also gives a nice kick, a good in-between. A lot of their toppings like the pickled onions, chili, and more is hand made not pre bought. The best part was it was not super messy so I was able to walk and eat without much issue. Yeah there was a little topping dripping off but the bun didn't get soggy and it was not overloaded to the point everything fell off when you tried to eat.
What sold it for me was how nice the people were. 1st time I was there I chatted with one of them about some games like Final Fantasy. They got a good laugh out of me and overall just made the walk back a lot more enjoyable. They know how to make people happy and I appreciate that a lot. If you want a good hot dog, come here and you will...
Read moreIf you're a fan of the classic boiled hotdog, Devil Dogs is the place to be! This spot keeps it simple, focusing on delivering a traditional hotdog experience that's hard to find these days. The boiled hotdogs here are exactly what you’d hope for—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The natural casing gives them a great snap, and the hotdogs are perfectly cooked, not too soft, and bursting with flavor. The buns are steamed to perfection, soft and warm, complementing the hotdogs nicely. I opted for the classic dog with mustard and sauerkraut, and it transported me back to childhood memories of enjoying hotdogs at the ballpark. They offer a range of classic toppings like relish, onions, and chili, etc…. so you can customize your dog just the way you want them. The service was quick and friendly, perfect for a place that focuses on fast, satisfying food. Devil Dogs clearly takes pride in their hotdogs and was happy to make...
