This place opened up not so long ago in my town and I was so happy that my family and I decided to stop by for lunch. The small restaurant is incredibly cute and creatively decorated. Not only is the food AMAZING but so is the staff (shoutout to our wonderful and attentive waitress Glory!) I got two chicken empanadas (only one is shown in the pictures), which they were having a deal on at $2 per empanada, what a steal. As soon as I bit into it flavors exploded in my mouth. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy, layered with this green spicy sauce they give you with free chips and dips, it was amazing. My mom and aunt shared a Birria quesadilla which was pretty big and was able to be cut in half to share. The meat inside was very flavorful and really brought the dish together. My friend got the steak tocos which comes 4 for $14 (there are other meat choices to choose from) She thoroughly enjoyed them! Overall the place was fantastic and for everything we got plus drinks it all amounted to about $54 however, the price ranges based what you get. You could spend as low as $10 and still enjoy a good lunch or dinner....
Read moreMy family and I got there when it first opened. The head honcho as I would say was very sweet and accommodating to my twins. Especially my son who is autistic and cannot sit in any chair due to his sensory issues. The fact that I was able to sit and eat says a lot about the atmosphere and love put into this place. I still have a lot of the menu to try but those Yucca Fiesta lord if you don’t have that you’re missing out! The Birra Ramen and Tacos were amazing. Oh and my husband And I ordered emanadas for our daughter. That was the most flaky empanada that we have. So full of flavor we almost ate it ourselves. We also had the bubble tea which didn’t have tapioca bubbles but like a berry bubble but this taro tasted more Spanish than Asian. It had a hint of coconut to it. Overall I need to go back to try the rest of the menu and we’re so hungry we didn’t get to take pictures. I don’t know the lady’s name but she was sweet enough to pack a taco on the side for me to blend at home for my son since he cannot eat solids. This place was definitely made with love just...
Read moreI was so excited to try a new Mexican spot with relatively good prices. It started off well with chips and salsa then it went downhill from there. My partner was served the incorrect tacos which we asked to be fixed. The flautas which I ordered were supposed to come with 5 and topped with tomatoes and avocados with a side of two corn tortillas which were all missing. The meat was unseasoned, thickly cut, and nearly impossible to chew. The tacos ripped apart and there was no additional tortilla underneath to support them. There must have been 10-12 people, not sure if all of them were employees constantly walking in and out of the kitchen where all the food was made. Please see the attached photos showing what the flautas should have been and a picture of bland tacos. When I brought the menu into question a lady had the audacity to give me attitude and say you only get 4 and ignored everything else. I quickly told her to check their own menu before arguing with a customer. If I could get this place negative...
