I finally got to stop by this week and we bought tons of stuff to try:
•Chicken, steak, birria tacos •Double decker quesadilla •Loaded chicken nachos •Chicken burrito •Steak bowl •Elote •Flan
For the tacos I think the meat is cooked well, the steak was especially soft! However the chicken/steak tacos had barely any onions/cilantro and I couldn't really taste the meat as the guacamole (more of an avocado sauce) overpowered it. It isn't bad there was just so much it felt like guacamole with a sprinkle of meat 😭 I would've ordered it without the sauce but I didn't notice it in the item description. I had them with the green salsa and it was herby but not spicy. The birria tacos tasted good but they didn't give us any consomé...I had that thousand yard stare 🧍♀️
I didn't try the quesadilla but it's a quesadilla I'm sure it was good, looked pretty hefty and filling.
My mom and her boyfriend got loaded nachos/a steak bowl and were crushed to see them absolutely smothered in chipotle sauce but again it's in the description they just missed it so womp womp 💀 They claim the chicken burrito had it too but that sauce isn't listed under it so I think they might've been going crazy after realizing they wasted money on stuff they won't enjoy. They ate the burrito but said it lacked flavor. Can't speak on the bowl or nachos as no one touched it.
Now Miss Elote? Corn can never disappoint me

I started with the Birria Tacos, and they did not disappoint. The beef was tender, bursting with flavor, and the consomé for dipping was a game changer. Next, the Elote was a must-try—perfectly grilled and slathered with cheese and spiced, it’s a true treat.
For the main course, I couldn’t resist the Loaded Nachos. The toppings were generous, and the balance of flavors was spot on. The Steak Burrito Bowl was another highlight, with perfectly seasoned steak over a bed of rice and fresh toppings.
To wash it all down, I had the refreshing Horchata, which was creamy and just the right amount of sweet. I also tried the Agua De Jamaica, which offered a delightful floral taste—highly recommend! Don’t forget to try their Drink Palestina sodas!
And no meal is complete without dessert! The Flan was homemade, creamy and had a perfect caramel topping that left me wanting more.
Overall, Prince Taqueria is a gem that combines traditional Mexican flavors with Halal options, making it a must-visit. Whether you're a fan of halal Mexican or just looking to explore something new in NJ, you won't regret...
Read moreWe picked this for Saturday lunch. Upon arrival we were the only ones dining in, though multiple customers walked in for take out. I was really impressed with the decor and interior of the restaurant. Vibrant and colorful, with ultimate Mexican vibes and songs playing in the background. But the store was little cold for a freezing day outside. It wasn’t comfortable dining in.
The menu had bunch of tacos, burritos and bowls. I got the shrimp, streak and birria tacos. The food came out in few minutes. Tacos were decent size with good quantity of ingredients. Shrimp was my favorite, great taste with the chipotle sauce. Steak was also really good, with avocado sauce on the top. Birria was decent, but I had better ones on other places. The dipping sauce was too watery. Also the onions were not cooked enough to liking, I’d have preferred them to be caramelized brown.
I got to try the chicken bowl as well. I wasn’t fan of the rice they used, but the chicken was really good, little spicy but full of flavors. The bowl had lots of cheese and sour cream on top.
I loved all the three sauces, salsa roja, chipotle and salsa verde, that they had in the condominium section. All of them added some extra flavor and kick to the tacos. I was happy to see another good taco location opening in...
