4P Studios — Attraction in North Augusta

An Augusta gem for artists and art appreciation. 4P Studios hosts month-long art exhibits featuring practically every art discipline in multiple locations in the CSRA including Martinez (main gallery) and 600 Broad Street, downtown. Local artists are able to show their work in the community, and each exhibit has a reception! There’s is a monthly email including dates and locations of art gatherings, classes, and workshops the studio offers.

Speaking of classes and workshops, 4P Studios offers pottery classes for both wheel potters (newbies or not!) and hand-building pottery classes too (for most all ages!).

Visit the studio’s website or drop in for a visit to the Martinez gallery to fine tune your art skills (photography, drawing, watercolor, oil paint) and don’t forget to see what the studio offers for kids (including spring and summer activities/classes).

I have not taken an art class since college and signed up on a whim for a Raku class given by the 4P Studios. Not even a moment of feeling uncomfortable like I didn't know what to do, the studio professions at this studio make you feel like one of the family right away. Amanda was an amazing instructor and made me want to learn more. The participants in the class were newbies, others who had taken some classes before and even a regular who has been coming to art classes given by 4P Studios for 8 years! Everyone was super friendly and very encouraging to everyone. I'm not by nature an artsy person but will definitely sign up for more classes at this studio. It would also be a great gift to sign yourself and a loved one or friend up with you for a class. I scheduled a pottery on the wheel experience as a date night with my wife. J was our instructor and she did a phenomenal job. She made the experience personal and fun. She has inspired my wife to look at taking a multi week class. We are so satisfied with the experience and want to do it again. I even want to look at getting my daughter some lessons at 4P Studios.
