One day while sitting in the front row of the car, I reached out for my jacket that I had left on top of the rear seat. I don't know exactly how it happened but I felt a pinching pain on the area between my neck and shoulder. It was just one second and then was gone. I forgot about it until a couple of days later when I started to feel some discomfort in the area. At that point, Luis had offered to treat the area but I was reluctant to accept the idea that a massage was going to heal that particular pain. I was hopeful that it would go away on its own, but the pain kept getting worse. I couldn't move my head. I had to turn slowly. After a week the pain was unbearable and had affected my sleeping. I could only close my eyes for a couple of hours at a time until the pain woke me up every time. I was willing to try anything and I ended up calling Luis who was kind enough to accommodate my request on a really short notice. When I met him, he took a couple of minutes to feel the area and asked me to lay down. Luis knew what he had to do. Painful at times, the massage ended up to be a god send. Luis' technique and experience released all the stress and I could feel the pain going away. By the time he finished, I was able to turn my head again with no pain. It's been several weeks now and I can tell the pain has gone for good. There are a lot of technical terms that I am leaving out since I don't remember any, but Luis is extremely knowledgeable of his field and he did explain the causes of my pain and what he ended up doing to heal me. I have been following Luis for some time but didn’t book the massage till now. I was reading all comments and reviews and they were wonderful and I knew I had to find time for myself. I have been with chronic pain for almost 6 years. I went to chiropractors who worsened it all, I went to massages that didn’t do any change, physical therapy lessened the pain a little bit then it came back, so To be honest when I was reading how after the very 1st sección with Luis people loose all their pain I was skeptical. But at the end I had to try. Disclosure here: don’t expect a spa style relaxing massage. This is more like stretching, therapy and deep tissue massage on steroids. After an 1,5 hour I stood up from the table moving perfectly (that never happened, o always had to take some minutes before standing up after massages) my usual Pain was gone!!! I was completely shocked in a good way’ years of pain fixed in such a short time. Of course you will have to keep up with it so it doesn’t come back but YES!!’ it actually happens. You might feel some sourness in your muscles after this but that’s understandable because of all stretching and manipulation.
