We got the twilight season pass (2023-2024) for skiing and try to visit atleast once a week. We’ve been to Summit west for almost 2 months now and the experiences were kinda mixed both good and bad. Some of the lifts are closed by 5PM which doesn’t give us too many options or time to ski. Most days, we are left just with a couple of lift chair options. When we got the twilight pass, the expectation was that all the lift chairs available during the day would be operating till the close hours. So, that was a shocker to us. Read moreI really enjoy skiing at Summit West! Now, in fairness, part of why that is, is simply proximity to Seattle. But they do have a really nice variety of terrain, and they take very good care of the slopes, the lifts, and all the equipment. Do I think lift tickets and food are overpriced? Oh hell yes. Read moreSummit West is great if you know its pros and cons and how to use it. This is a great place to bring kids to learn how to ski. There's several magic carpets and lots of beginner terrain, and it's about an hour from Seattle.
However, because it has the lowest elevation of all the local ski areas, it often rains here when it's snowing at Crystal or Stevens.
