Well as expensive at this thing cost to build. You would think there'd be a little bit more here on the bridge but that's not. The lights were really on not really bright. There's really not much else there in the area it still looks kind of ugly. The view looks great but you kind of just wish their restaurants maybe a hotel maybe a good water fountain maybe a good dog fountain possibly maybe something else there but the park is still missing something it's definitely probably a good place to go to catch the sunrise of sunset if it's not an overcast today so I'll give it five stars just don't expect much more than a very pretty brand new bridge

I’m a resident at the Charleston area and I did not know this Newbridge was here. I attended the Charleston jerk festival and we parked to the left of this bridge. There was no line and it was easy to get in and out of the festival without having to walk the distance we were close to the state area and was able to put a chair is directly under a tree. This park is great for going to festivals and concerts. The views are great. Fun fact, this is the whole Navy base so much history and hidden gems to be found. You can also see the dolphins, during their season

A new favorite!!! I was so excited when this was being built. It’s a beautiful addition that is already so loved. This area is super cute! I went recently at night and it’s lit up very nicely. Amazing views! I sat at the end of the trail on a swing and watched dolphins swim by at night, super peaceful!

Very few trash cans, a few weird lounger branches, some regular benches and some swinging benches. A handful of pet waste stations with bags. Lots of trash in and around the water/grass areas. Signs posted say no smoking but there was a lot of smoking trash & wasn't like anyone was stopping people from doing it. Otherwise, nice place for a walk along...
