Palmetto Goodwill — Attraction in North Charleston

I've been a frequent shopper at this particular goodwill since they've opened. Until today I had fairly good things to say about it, the store is clean and most of the staff has been friendly. Today though I found an item on the shelf I was very interested in purchasing, but it didn't have a price sticker on it. I took it up to an employee who took it to the back to see if it could get priced. She said the girl was busy and I expressed how interested I was in buying it, regardless of price. They could have slapped any old price tag on it and I would have taken it home. Instead, after thirty minutes of waiting for the girl to get around to it, I was out of luck. The same employee said that she would not be pricing it today and refused to let me purchase it. I've never had such foolishness happen to me before when I"m trying to spend money somewhere. I'm terribly disappointed. I do not plan on returning...

So I went to take a couch that was in decent shape (one small tear that was covered by the cushion). The lady tells me that I will have to unload it myself and take it in the building. So I say no problem. After I have unloaded it she starts checking it and say we can't take trash like this because of the tear. I respond by saying that the cushion covers the tear and that they have sold stuff worse than this. She tell me that management told them that they can't take trash like this and that I need to load my trash and leave. This is not what the goodwill is designed for it is supposed to help others learn job skills and help people that are less fortunate but obviously this store does not...

This is a pretty decent Goodwill. If you search hard enough, you will find some really good stuff. Unfortunately the management there is very rude after purchasing an item on a previous day. I came to pick it up receipts and hand placed the items in my cart and was rudely demanded to show proof of purchase while I had items in my hand, which of course took me a while to do so Very, very rude and this is the type of management that you guys have running your stores I can only imagine what your corporate office is like someone needs to speak to her because this is who you all have left in charge and she was disgustingly rude.
