The bar was nice and the service was odd. The problem that me and my daughter had made our experience bad for starters we sat at the bar and we ordered drinks and to go food in which the drinks were good and the female bartender was nice but the guy behind the bar was weird he made us feel uncomfortable and he kept watching and he saw the young lady helping us and there was others at the bar to be helped but his attention was directed to us and when we asked her for the bill he immediately snatched it from in front of us and I had to ask what going on why did you do that and he said it was wrong but I hadn't even seen it and why didn't he ask her to get it and correct it so i ask for the long receipt because i couldn't trust him and before i left I check my bank account because it took him 5 times to cash us out so I was definitely scared because if you had let her handle the mistake she made you wouldn't have had the ringing out issue and he did in a way it came out immediately but then it was retracted and now pending. Watch your account when going here! Also I paid over$60 in food and it was awful. The burgers were raw, fries hard and looked like the bottom of the bag, the sandwich was dry and hard. Nice but selections limited. clarification: if you like fruity ciders and niche stouts, the selection will be perfect for you. If you like beer, prepare to pay $10/12 oz glass for one certainly okay Pilsner (or order a bottle of regular domestic beer), food menu not offered by any of the staff and the special of the day was some cutesy, fig glazed chicken dish, not my thing but might be yours, also the service was uninspired: no one offered me a menu and bartenders didn’t show an interest in discussing the taps, which is limited to fruity cider drinks and different stouts with fruit flavors and different fruit flavors of dark ales plus the one Pilsner and a mead that I might have considered with a little more attentive staff. This place does have huge potential. And for all I know, the food may be fantastic, I was interested in eating but, like I say: no menu and the special of the day was not appealing. Recently, we held a birthday party here and the entire night exceeded expectations. The staff stayed on top of refills, drink orders, food orders, and they made sure the entire party of 30 plus was taken care of. I have never seen such a well oiled machine in any restaurant or bar and I have to give credit where credit is due. I ordered the 10 smoked wings, phosphate poutine fries, cheddar poppers, and armadillo eggs. Everything tasted amazing including the wings! The meat was smoked and juicy! As soon as you bite into the wing you capture the seasoning rub of the outside of the chicken and when dipped into the sauces makes it to die for. The chicken wing sizes are huge in size comparable to the size of most Chinese egg rolls. To be honest out of the ten wings I could only eat six before I felt full. The fries were covered in cheese curds brown gravy and topped with cheese to hold the gravy within the fries. It took us some time to drive here from James Island but well worth the drive...
