I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ditto Upscale Resale of NJ in North Haledon, and I couldn't be more impressed with this thrift store gem. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had stumbled upon a treasure trove of affordable and high-quality finds.

They were more than willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for and even provided some great decorating tips along the way. It's rare to find such a level of personalized attention in a thrift store, and it made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable.
Moreover, the store's layout is well-organized and clean, making it easy to navigate and find hidden treasures. The prices were reasonable, and I left with some fantastic bargains that I couldn't have found anywhere else.

Read moreUnfortunately I just had a very disappointing experience at Ditto. I was in the store with my daughter and our dog who is in training to become a service dog for my daughter who is Epileptic. A fellow shopper approached me and asked if she may say hello to my dog, and because we encourage people to learn about service animals, as long as someone doesn't approach him without asking I allow them to say hello. My dog was being well behaved and not disturbing anyone. The moment I allowed the lady to put her hand out to let my dog sniff it a man who works in the store IMMEDIATELY ran up telling me "if that dog was truly a service animal, you wouldn't be allowing it to interact with people." My response was simply " we like to promote awareness about how to approach and interact with service animals. As long as I am asked if he can be approached we allow it." He continued to tell me that if he were a true service animal I wouldn't allow it, I responded by telling jimtthat not everyone does things one way and that's not wrong. He continued to argue with me and told me not to push it- as though he was attempting to intimidate me. I told my daughter to put down the items we were about to purchase, I also put down mine and we left. This happened about ten minutes ago. I am SO...
Read moreI often donate a lot of items new and lightly used but in great condition. The prices can sometimes are a bit higher than expected just because it’s a high quality brand, it’s not worth it especially if it really does not look in great condition. I randomly shop for small things I also see new jewelry from paparazzi at a higher price when all paparazzi jewelry are 5 dollar because I use to sell them . I also see free items for sale like Victoria’s secret’s and some of Macy’s gift when you purchase a gift. Lastly a lot of the volunteers are great except for 2 people a man with grayish color hair and a Hispanic lady who sometimes are at the cashier. I went an purchased some items he saw I had a coffee mug he mentioned next time I can’t bring any drinks to the store. I clearly just took it out from my purse to get my wallet. Really that’s what you’re looking at I'm paying that’s means I’m leaving with my mug in my purse. The lady who handled my transaction was trying to rush me out call the next client, wait until I leave and then proceed. I’ve also had her before she always seems to have...
