After years of problems and pain with my prostate, including treatment with multiple medications and a failed Urolift procedure, along with the emasculation of having to wear adult diapers, I was happy to find out I was a candidate for the Aquablation procedure offered in the Kansas City area by Dr. Gerald Park, whose enthusiasm for this approach was infectious when I first consulted with him. Read moreDr. Parks is great,he listens and is prompt on taking care of issues. However,I had a severe bladder infection in Nov,2022. I called the Dr on call several times but was NOT allowed to talk to one, unless I had blood I could see in my urine. I was in severe pain for a month. I made an appt at the office but it was so far out, I couldn't wait this long in so much pain. I finally was allowed to speak the the NP on call by the name of Holly and she arranged I be admitted in hospital. Thanks to her,I got some relief. I'm still having issue after 5 months of pain of this but seeing Dr Parks yesterday,we are headed to surgery to see if a procedure will work. If not,he has another alternative. I will not see the NP whose name starts with an A anymore. To much time...
