I had been meaning to try this place when it FIRST opened, well I hate I waited so long! When we walked in, the place was super clean and immediately our host/waitress Ricky greeted us with a huge smile. She asked what we would like to drink and presented us with a sushi check list. I had never had any and Ricky answered any questions that I had about them. I tried ordering only one bite of each just in case I didn't like them because I did not want to waist it but she explained that they all came in 4's. Once my son and I figured out which ones we wanted to try, she took it and promptly returned with our drinks.
As my son and I fixed our plates from the buffet, they told us they would be bringing out some of the items we choose fresh. OMG everything we tried was so good, light nongreasy, just overall good flavor. As we sat there talking, a gentleman by the name of B.C. (Before you Cry...inside joke ๐๐) walked over to us to make sure I understood the sushi came in 4's. He was so sweet and polite.
Yall let me tell you Ms. Ricky was on point with everything from clearing the dishes to refilling our drinks. .. NOT ONCE did our drinks get to the bottom of the cup lol!!! She truly is the definition of hospitality!
B.C. came back over to let us know that not only were we allowed to eat from the buffet, but the sushi AND hibachi WAS INCLUDED in the price. So of course the hibachi was our second plate and you can pick any items you want for them to cook, meat, veggies and sauce. I did not get the cooks name but I will put him out there also.... It was ๐ฅ He did that!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making this your new favorite spot...ohhh and don't forget to try the CRISPY CRAB RANGOON, it is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BITE you will ever have... Scrap the regular crab rangoon the Crispy is where it's at... If I would have had them first I might of ate the entire batch lol.
RICKY & B.C. THANK YOU for making us feel special. THANK YOU for making our experience something good to talk about. You will be seeing us agian with a STRONG RECOMMENDATION to our family and friends to check...
ย ย ย Read moreI hate doing negative reviews. Especially for small businesses. I wanted very much to like this place. I brought my family with me to try it out because it was close to where I live. I was disappointed to say the least. It was a Wednesday evening, around 7pm. There were maybe 6 other people in the place. It was a little nostalgic because I had visited this place when it was a pizza hut way back in...too long ago, lol. The set up was cute, it is a smaller restaurant with a smaller selection of food, which is never a problem. The real issue was the quality of the food. I'll start with what I liked. Most Chinese buffet places that serve coconut shrimp, bread the shrimp and deep fry them before tossing them in a coconut sauce. These were not breaded and the flavor was really good. The seafood boil was just okay, definitely had potential. The eggs were delicious, but the shrimp still had veins in them, which isn't terrible, but not my favorite. The sushi was okay. While I am always happy to see sushi, it is not my main focus at a Chinese buffet. My son loves to make use of the grill at these restaurants, so he put his plate of raw items together and then started to makes his sauce selections. He found an entire piece of raw meat in the teriyaki sauce. Mind you, he still ate the plate of food that was cooked for him, but he had lost what remained of his appetite. Maybe it was an off day. I will definitely give it one more chance before I give up, but for our first family outing there, it was very disappointing. 2 final gripes... The total cost for 4 people, with 2 sodas, an iced tea and a water was almost $90...huh?!!!. We chalked it up to tariffs but, lordt. And finally, please do not swat insects with an electric paddle over or around your food. This is just my opinion, I encourage you to try it yourself. The lady has a cute social media presence on Facebook and I think they have the right idea, but things...
