Jerry's Nugget Casino — Attraction in North Las Vegas

I and my 70 year old father came here and ate at the cafe after discovering the casino and cafe through a vlogger on youtube who did a review there a week before. All was phenomenal in regards to the food as well as having the interesting and courteous waiter, angelo. But, this was short lived when I and my father decided to gamble where we just became player card members that day and attempted to get to 500 points to win free t shirts at the gift shop. I and my father were insulted, berated, and disrespected and this first begins with an older filipino-american woman with glasses of whom asked us for drinks. The setting is I playing slots with my father and the hostess coming and saying cocktails, I asking what sort of drink my father wants, he saying cranberry juice, and then I saying what sort of beer do you all have to the hostess? To which she says "we have all of them" in a condescending manner which I was indifferent too where I just said "Ill take an angry orchard beer please". What follows is her telling me that I need to be a player in order to get a drink. Keep in mind—this was after the hostess already took our order. My father then told the hostess sternly that "my son is speaking on the behalf of me and we both have been playing and have rewards cards". The hostess seemed to not like this statement and then commenced to go on a rant of how he cant say that to her. I then stepped in and said we would cancel the order of drinks. My father then says, before the conversation ends, to call a manager. The hostess then walks away and talks with other casino staff members while pointing and staring at us for minutes from afar. What follows, is the approaching of a larger middle aged latino-american woman floor manager with glasses as well as an older black gentleman security guard with a beanie, to the hostess. She talks to them where the floor manager and guard then approach us. They arrive and the manager asks us "whats the problem". I begin by saying I am not exactly sure and that the hostess approached us for drinks, noted what drinks we wanted, and then started saying one needs to be a player to order drinks as I am sitting next to my father, playing slots, and having our rewards cards visible. My father adds how I was merely ordering drinks and that the hostess was rude and had a problem with us. And he said this in a manner that was of frustration where I'd like to reiterate, it was he who told the hostess to go get a manager. But, the floor manager lectures us on how this hostess is her "best employee" and what we said "is untrue". She proceeds to lecture my father how "it was not disrespectful" and that "the hostess gives drinks only to players". And as I said before—the hostess asked us about drinks, noted my fathers drink, and that I wanted an angry orchard—where she abruptly says that only players can get drinks where I then consequently convey that I was a player and had been playing for over an hour and was playing the slots with my father. As my father disagrees with the manager and I support how the hostess has a problem—The conversation escalates to shouting and the manager shouting that I and my father are trespassed. I start exclaiming to the floor manager how this scenario is absurd and pathetic where me and her start going into a shouting war. The manager, after getting annoyed of what I had to say as we walk towards the cashier cage to cashout/leave then says, "where do you come from". I rebut "born and raised in California, dont worry about it" where she then says "me too" combatively, I kid you not.Nonetheless, we are walking out and escorted by security where we were then denied our free shirts on the way out—after both getting 500 slot points each—where the giftshop was about to hand them to us, but the guard intervening to stop it. All in all, I recommend no one to come here. This establishment is absurd, regrettable, and holds persons who aren't mentally astute. There are a plethora of alternatives and I mean it, as I and my father are regular gamblers and visited most...

Still one of the best places especially for the price to go anywhere in Las Vegas the prime rib is massive for 50 bucks you get like 25 oz unbelievable nowhere else has a deal like that and the staff is very friendly they seem to like what they do and it shows actually I'm a bartender and a DJ insecurity officer of ballet attendant and a Bellman or bell captain I should say I'm looking for a job I am more than qualified to run your whole operation I'm looking to become the casino manager I will first Take on the role of Casino shift manager first if I have to I will take on the role of Pit Boss I know how to deal I know all the games my security grab background along with my knowledge of table games leads me to where I am today I have a Keen Eye and a sharp sense also I am consorting with my hopefully new girlfriend I will be taking her out and you will be the place I take her to maybe you know her country music legend Shania Twain will you be accommodating us when we arrive I will need Security in place so we do not get mobbed we do not mind photo ops and signing autographs if things go appropriately who knows maybe we'll do a couple few songs at your establishment to support your business because I am a business owner I am the CEO of Miller Enterprises LLC Inc the owner operator is Jim Miller of TaxSlayer he is a tax preparer he is a rich man and whether or not you know this I have a million followers in just three and a half weeks I am gaining followers 2 to 3,000 a week exponentially that puts me in the ballpark of a 2 million excuse me a 2 billion dollar evaluation immediately which roughly 10 fold Translate to 4 billion dollar 4 trillion dollars I'm not going to correct my words because it is a Freudian slip I need you to see how my mind operates so you can get on board with this ship I am the captain I am captain stupid I am Mr rork this is Fantasy Island I am here and tattoo God bless his soul put a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger I don't know why most successful people do especially comedian well I'm a comedian as well and I can tell you this there's no way on Earth I would ever consider that because I am a spiritual leader I am a minister I am a Christian not a Muslim there's nothing wrong with that but Muslims tend to believe that their way is the only way their way has Merit and it makes sense but if you say anything to the contrary they want to kill you they are extremists and they need to be eradicated I plan on very soon running for office probably I will start locally first I will run from Air then I will run for governor after I get to the governor maybe senator but I think I can go from governor to the presidency in 5 to 10 years and I will be good at it so if you want to get on board with me right now it's time to do it at the ground level I will accept any entry level position because they are the money makers I know how to separate people from a dollar but more or less half the time they end up giving me fives tens 20s and hundreds and don't forget the 50s I would make 3 to $500 a day as a bartender at Boulder Station you are the same type of establishment you can pay me minimum wage and I will just live off the tips and pay the bills with the cash that roughly brings me to a grand total of 150,000 a year out of Jerry's Nugget now imagine me on the strip they make $500 a day well 3 to 500 a day actually they make five to 1000 because I can produce and spit out and serve over 300 drinks in a day it only takes me 2 minutes to serve 10 people I don't mess around and I talk the whole time I tell people what they want to hear where they want to go what they want to eat how they want to eat it how they want it prepared I am a Master Chef I am very similar to Gordon Ramsay who I have been corresponding with I will be talking to him if things go well with you and I about opening a restaurant of his very own inside of Jerry's Nugget because of how good the food is there I will bring him there and I will treat him to dinner it will be on me if I do not attend I will make a...

I doubt I'll be coming back to Jerry's Nugget. I run a youtube channel where we film our play on slot machines at casinos throughout Las Vegas. A couple of months ago a friend reintroduced me to Jerry's Nugget which I haven't been to in likely 2 decades. From day one we asked for and got permission to film as long as we didn't film other patrons and as long as we always made sure we were recording only our machine play and nothing else. That's what we do, and we always follow any guidelines the casino has. We take privacy very seriously and anytime somebody's face might get caught in the frame or even voices in the background that can be understood, we always edit those out. It doesn't happen often though, as we are very careful to make sure we're only recording the game that we're playing. On our first visit we asked permission to film and we're told as long as we were filming only our machine, they were happy to have us there as patrons. I'll also point out that at a small casino like Jerry's Nugget, we would be considered extremely high rollers. We were never in the way, we weren't bothering anybody. We don't even talk and narrate our videos while we're playing, we narrate them later. We're just sitting there feeding money into a machine like anybody else, the only difference is, we have a camera sitting in front of us.

Today we made what is probably our 6th or 7th visit to Jerry's Nugget within recent weeks. We filmed a couple of videos and were on our third machine when we were told by a manager that we were not allowed to film and could only film for a few seconds if we hit a jackpot. I explained that we've been filming multiple times in the past and even asked for permission on our first visit, but this manager didn't seem to care.

This is disappointing because our videos are seen by tens of thousands of people in Las Vegas. We ALWAYS credit the casinos we go to because our viewers want to know where we won. I really enjoyed some of the games you have just for my own pleasure too, but now you've lost not only my personal business, but you've also lost my business's business. In addition to all of that, Jerry's Nugget has amazing food at the restaurant and I will miss that because it was definitely a treat every time we were there. After this happened today, we left before eating and decided to go to a more welcoming casino.

After being told we couldn't record I went to the cage to ask who I could contact in regards to this. I was told I could call back another time and ask for somebody in charge. Nobody behind the counter wanted to give me a name, they just told me to call back and ask for somebody. Kind of hard to do that when you don't tell me who.
