The Yellow PentHouse LLC — Hotel in North Las Vegas

My husband and I booked a "too good to be true" deal through this company. Upon confirming with the hotel, my husband was informed of various additional charges and "fees" that also included a mystery deposit. All told told to us well after the booking! I combed through the ad and confirmation emails and texts...it says NOTHING about these.

I contacted the hotel again. They said I must take it up with the agency/site purchased on. Classic.

What does the agency say? Take it up with the hotel!

So, we attempt to just cancel the room bc we aren't going to pay hidden charges (illegal much?). Am I able to? NO! There is NO option to, and when I contact them, again, it's the same fiasco.

Also, the hotel name was The Yellow Penthouse, LLC, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Edit for response - Technicalities do not change the facts shared. You did not disclose this information when we called to inquire. We booked one of your rooms without the knowledge of additional charges and fees (that you admit are not posted on that site). Regardless of who, when, why...you are still obligated, morally at minimum, to assist in clarification and resolution.

Instead, you simply said "that's the norm" after mentioning the additional charges and told us to take it up with the reservation site.

As the guests, we took the time to review our reservations and call you directly for assistance, as is the responsible thing to do. You, however, failed to clarify and were entirely dismissive, as your response here further demonstrates.

Reviews are for the benefit of potential customers/guests/etc, and this is only one of dozens that mention struggling with the same issues. If the problem is so prevalent, I am reluctant to accept it as being the fault of a website that books guests for your...

I stayed at The Yellow Penthouse in Las Vegas, Nevada from Monday, April 30 - Friday, May 4, 2018. I had read the positive reviews before I arrived but still wasn't really sure about a place like this and what to expect.||||When I arrived, I was met by Josh. He was very nice and gave me a tour of the apartment. He showed me my room and right off the bat I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, quite large, had a wall mounted TV and a huge closet! The bathroom was just down the hallway from my bedroom and it was spotless. Arturo cleaned the bathroom thoroughly every day I was there. The kitchen and living room were spotless as well. Tis place is awesome. I felt safe and knowing Josh and Arturo lived across the street and basically helped me with whatever I needed at a moment's notice was comforting since I was traveling alone. It was quiet there and I barely saw my neighbors/other guests that stayed there at the same time. Everyone was respectful of each other which was an extra plus. I really did not want to leave my new little home away from home. I'm happy that I now have a great place to stay when I go back to town. Again, everything was spotless. This was important to me because I'm a little OCD. They work hard at making The Yellow penthouse clean and memorable for their guests. When I was there, Josh and Arturo were upgrading another room. They are constantly making this place better! Can't wait to come back! They're super nice guys and made me feel very welcome. Thanks again Josh and Arturo!...

BEWARE--- THIS IS THE Worst Place Ever!!!!!! This is in the GHETTO, Garbage Everywhere, BARS on all the windows in the neighborhood, tons of Graffiti. IT was so bad we didn't even stop!!! Then they still charged my credit card for the stay. Don't waste your time! Do not go there- the area is filled with beggars, bums and is seriously NOT safe. Do Not Go There!!!! PEOPLE are better off to pay more Money and stay in a Nice SAFE Area! Oh and AS FOR YOUR REPLY - then when I do exactly what I told you I would do- post a review, you call me a liar! Wow! You lie about the location of your property, you have misleading information posted about parking. THEN You attack my character, because I told the truth about your SCAM! THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE! IT is DIRTY, AND IN A TERRIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT IS NOT CLOSE TO ANYWHERE NORMAL PEOPLE GO! You have many more negative reviews. Plus You didn't even know who you were talking too when you called me yesterday. Also I read your REVIEWS- so many of the positive (fake ones) are from India, my guess is they are your relatives, or friends who have never even seen the place. The Grammar gave it away.
