Get Up And Go Kayaking Miami — Attraction in North Miami Beach

This tour was so worth it. It’s an easy paddle even for inexperienced kayakers. There was clear paddling instruction given, as well as safety guidelines before the tour. In our group there were 4 kayaks of two people each along with our guide. The guide (Jenny) was exceptional - knowledgeable, experienced and funny. I thought we were just going to paddle around a pretty area, but Jenny shared so much about the beauty around us, the birds in the area, the species of mangroves (which are so cool to paddle through), manatees and other animals. Great for older kids with a parent.

You paddle two people to a clear kayak (not sure what the benefit of it being clear was, unless perhaps the water might be clearer at other times of the year) for 2+ hours but it was relaxing and fun. Be sure to bring your own water bottle for hydration. If you have hearing issues stay close to your guide so you can benefit from what they are sharing.

I would definitely recommend GET UP...

This is a fantastic way to experience a mangrove forest! Our tour guide, Jenny, led us along the river, into water "trails" (both natural and man-made) amongst the mangroves. She had us pause several times so she could explain interesting facts about these unique trees and about the animals that live among them, including the tiny crabs that climb their vines.

Paddling the river was relatively easy. By that I mean that I quickly understood how to make the kayak go where I wanted it to go, even though I'd never ridden one before. Paddling out was just a matter of steering. Paddling back in took some endurance to go against the current and breeze, but even as un-athletic as I am, I didn't have any trouble with it.

The transparent kayak is a fascinating idea, but it didn't help us see anything below us. Still, it was 90 minutes of our vacation...

What an incredible experience with Get up and Go! From the moment we hit the water, it was clear we were in for something special. Our guide was not only extremely professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local ecosystems. Paddling through the serene mangroves was magical, and learning about the rich sea life beneath us added so much depth to the adventure.

The tour was perfectly balanced between relaxation and excitement. We had plenty of time to soak in the stunning views of the Miami coastline, and the guide made sure everyone felt comfortable regardless of skill level. It was clear that safety was a priority, yet the entire experience was full of fun and laughter.
