Maybe my daughter/daddy date was better than some of the other reviewers here. Our food was good to damned good. We tasted quite a bunch of offerings here. Nothing tasted weird, out of place, poorly cooked or badly presented. The pork belly atop the pico was excellent! I had three different tacos--Birria, Pastor and Carnitas. Each one tasted meaty, spicy without being hot, seasoned according to the type of meat and cooked perfectly. The meat wasn't exactly USDA Prime, but it tasted good. I also had a burrito, this was the Campeche-style, steak with cheese and a dollop of sour cream. DEEE-licious! Their tortillas are machine-made, but are well-constructed and flavorful. They have one of my favorite beers, Negro Modelo. The place seats like, maybe eight people at two tables inside maybe a dozen people outside on the sidewalk. We decided to eat here after I heard from my daughter, who discovered this place when it was a food truck. Not exactly CHEAP street food, but fairly priced for what you get. (For the first time I'm constantly getting an Error Message whenever I try to upload photos. I have to figure out what happened. As soon as I get to the bottom of this,...

I don’t even have to eat more to know how everything here is going to taste—terrible.

My sister and I chose to support a local restaurant over a chain, but at this rate, Taco Bell would’ve been a better option. When I asked the young lady how to pronounce “Sonorense Quesadilla,” she barely paused before asking if I wanted beans in it or on the side. She rushed through our order so quickly that by the time we got to checkout, she’d already added her own gratuity without even giving me a chance to decide! I get that businesses need support, but charging $53.10 for just two items? Really? To top it off, the guacamole tasted like some packaged paste, and the meat was so salty it was almost inedible. The only thing worth anything was the...

The food here is delicious and flavorful. Definitely the best tacos I've had. I have been a regular customer from before, when they had a food truck. Their Taco Tuesdays specials are great, you're able to mix and match. Also, some of the tacos come with like a guacamole sauce, not really guacamole, which is why you can't taste it. BEWARE- they automatically include tip regardless of eating there or taking to go!!! Not cool. This place should give an option for the tip, not make it a requirement. Normally, restaurants automatically include tip on the bill when it's a large party for dining in. There is no sign on the counter of the automatic tip or anything, you'll just see it on your receipt, which you have to ask for...

I visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening, and it was surprisingly quiet. I ordered the Sonorense quesadilla, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The peppers were undercooked, which detracted from the overall texture and flavor of the dish. The meat, which I had hoped would be rich and savory, lacked depth and flavor. To make matters worse, the meal came with chips that tasted like they were straight from a bag, lacking the freshness and crunch I've come to expect from a good Mexican restaurant. Overall, it was a disappointing meal that left me wanting more.

Employee named Magda charged us a tip, without saying what %, without asking, without a posted sign, and didn't even print a receipt so we know how much was paid. Drinks like Horchata were watered down and tiny size of cup. They only had 3 small tables, with falling apart kid sized chairs. The narrow walkway was filled with cactus 🌵 plants, and a customer got hurt in front of me. The taste of the tacos was okay, but I've had much better at places that cost half as much.
