I've been a customer here for a long time. Today I stopped by, to buy some things, and I was surprised not to see my favorite cashier, her name is Gislaine. She's such a caring, kind, and loving person that all the customers love. Someone told me she'd been fired. I was shocked to hear this. What a terrible, unforgivable thing this person could have done? Someone, who work for so many years offered everyone a smile, a hug, and was always willing to help. This is the only alternative? I can think this is personal, or could be something else that I don’t want to mention. It seems the person who fired her is new to the place and doesn't know how special she is to us, the clients who shop there week after week. That person who fired her should read all the comments customers make about Gislaine and their opinions of her. What bothers me is that someone who thinks that is very powerful because is the manager, abuse others, and think they are untouchable, but that is wrong. Everyone work because we need money to pay our bills, she need this job and I don’t think is fair what they did to her. Gislaine is a hard worker, is a good person. Everyone know her. I was shocked when I went to TJ Max one day and mentioned how nice this Winn-Dixie cashier was, and they told me they knew who I was talking about. As a Winn-Dixie customers we hope this misunderstanding can be resolved soon, and we'll be able to see our favorite cashier back at work, offering us, as always, a kind word or a smile. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful person like her. We love you Gislaine, I hope to...

Price Gouging: Same items at other markets are 2x or 3x less. I could not believe how inflated prices are on "healthy" or "premium" goods. Especially anything organic, I've seen the same organic products sold so much cheaper at other markets.

Quality Control: Make sure you check expiration dates/ingredients/condition before purchasing. I've purchased products with mildew/mold, or products with short timeline expiration dates, or expired products.

Winn-Dixie Supports Vendors with False Advertising: I was astonished, from the overpriced vitamins & supplements with food coloring/corn syrup to over 50% of shelved products leading consumers to think they are purchasing something good for them, when it actually contains poison for the body and costs more than other markets.

Building/Facility Condition: Confused how such a poor looking, outdated, unchanged for years market is in such a great area. Most carts are broken, there's a smell of old throughout the market, you walk into any other big brand market and will notice how they improve and take care of their facility over time.

T.J. Maxx next door shouldn't be winning when it comes to finding healthy fair priced packaged foods in comparison to this "market" who's been there for years; Winn-Dixie's objective is clearly to be as cheap as possible and has no value in its consumers or improvement.

Really hope locals start to save money and improve their health by shopping at other markets to make way for a replacement which deserves to be in this neighborhood.

Thanks for...

Gislaine, is a superb Costumer Service skilled Cashier and Assistant that outstands with another young men ACM Lane 74 who was in today. I'm a Costumer Service Expert who highly appreciate assistance. My son with Special Needs of Trauma and also Autism feels very Happy to see Gislaine because she is kind and compassionate. Always goes out of her way to help Costumers from Self Check out to helping colleagues asking for her to help out. Weekly I check her Schedule to be able to see her when we go shopping to Winn Dixie. Today, I learned Gislaine not longer will work at Winn Dixie. Having less hours to no hours is a big gap. Aware of how much Gislaine enjoys her work, there seems something went wrong.

My discomfort feels related to a very malicious new Costumer Service Manager presence, named Fanny. She been the worst experience on her first days harassing my son and me and repeating with careless attitude; Causing my call to Corporate. Last Saturday, my son and I visit the store and Gislaine was there. She greeted us as she often greets all Costumers, happy and motivated. My son loves her. Fanny was standing on the floor near by. When I approach Gislaine to say Hi! felt I should show less affection because of the malicious personality of Fanny may retaliate.

I will follow up on this transition to make sure this good person Gislaine, is safe emotionally and...

This particular location in Eastern Shores has incredibly poor management and creates a horrible checkout experience when sale prices are not updated in their backend price table. Avoid and save yourself time. While checking out, I learned that the sale price of 1.99 was coming up as 2.49 per Fiji water. I asked for an adjustment to make the correction and four people, not one but four employees at this location could not understand that an overcharge of .50 for 5 water bottles equals, you guessed it, $2.50 in credit needed to true up the receipt. They asked to take a picture of the sale item which I did but that still did not help. I was bounced to three lines to resolve and I finally lost patience and said 'let's just cancel the order and you can keep all your items until you can learn basic math.' The manager then entered to help but did not ask me what is the issue, perhaps she did not know how to speak or maybe it was a language barrier or she is just social inept; she instructed the customer service cashier to scan all items again to issue the refund when they can see the receipt of what I was charge. Horrible location which will serve as an omen of its future closure.

Worst Winn Dixie I’ve ever been too. Came here just for seeded grapes (which majority of them were no good) and there were no lanes open, only fast lanes. The worst part about it is, there was only one fast lane that accepted cash. You would think because it’s Sunday that they would hire more people or have more people working. The line was ridiculously long and they only had 2 workers visible. The Hispanic lady with curly hair and glasses (in pic) was very rude to me and another Hispanic lady when we asked if another lane could be open. Her attitude stinks. She makes me want to reconsider visiting another location.

The cashier refused to honor the price on the sales sticker, her exact words ā€œwell that’s what it’s ringing up for so that’s priceā€ I told her that’s now how it works and I asked her to go to the isle and check the price but she refused She then told me I could take a picture and bring it to her which I did and the issue was finally resolved. You can tell customer service is not the priority and any extra effort on their end would be asking too much, at the end of the day it’s not her problem I was being overcharged right?
