Cole's Jewelers — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

Honestly wouldn't come here again. Went in for a watch battery replacement. Easy right? Tissot watch should take 5 minutes tops. Came in just about 1630 hrs. Dude looked at his watch & said "We're about to close. You'll have to drop it off." He wasn't rude about it, but wasn't pleasant either. I called the next day, afternoon. They hadn't even started on it. The guy calls back in a few minutes to say it's done. My wife went in about 1 minute after 1700 hrs, they were there. A woman there said "We closed at 5." My wife said "I just want to pick up my husband's watch." Not even an acknowledgement that she existed. I got sick & couldn't pick it up for a week which is my problem. No watch for more than a week for a 5 minute battery change. Got it home and saw some damage to the back & casing of the watch. Looks like they took a screwdriver to pry it open. A jewelry store that sells higher end watches doesn't have the proper tools to open a watch back? I wear the watch for days on end without removing it & didn't notice the damage until recently. When I dropped off jewelry to be resized I was told it would be one week. After 10 days I called and was told they would be ready in two days. After waiting four days with no phone call I checked on the status I was told they had been very busy and hadn’t had a chance to work on my order yet. The next day I was called and told my jewelry was ready to be picked up. The rings didn’t fit and the owner gave me a song and dance saying the rings were sized correctly to the size determined when I dropped them off, but I must be an anomaly because they didn’t fit. However, I am quite certain they had never been sized because they fit exactly as they had when I dropped them off. After three weeks of lies and misdirection I received a call that the rings were ready. I picked them up and they had been sized correctly. We heard from Next Door Neighbor from many people that Cole’s was the place to go. I’m telling you to look no further. We only had minor repairs to make on a few nice watches (sizing). Decided to bring it there. The place is spotless. I believe the owner helped us. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and overall just a great man. He extended the watch links and engaged with us the whole visit. The watches were repaired on site as we waited. They made sure they fit properly and gave us an extremely fair price. I looked at a beautiful ring that was a carat and gave me an extremely fair price. Great place and the only jeweler I will go to....
