No No Nuts Ice cream — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

Eat this ice cream, change your life! Andrew and his family have created the absolute best ice cream experience we have ever come across. Our family is dairy free and gluten free, we rarely have more than one or two safe options for sweets, if that! Andrew has turned his passion for providing allergy safe ice cream (and other sweets) into an opportunity for anyone who has ever faced allergy restrictions. Anyone can enjoy his family’s ice cream. We brought a friend who was very skeptical of non-dairy ice cream. She couldn’t believe how good it was and walked away saying “I feel like I’ve been lied to my entire adult life and have missed out”. She couldn’t believe how much better the taste was and how she didn’t feel heavy after eating it. The flavors are unique and inspired by iconic sweet treats, traditional options as well. We immediately hit it off with Andrew. Even though he had a line of customers, he took the time to make sure each person was confident in their choice. Other customers around us, both new comers and regulars were talking about how good the ice cream was, comparing flavors and smiling the entire time. Four of us ordered our desserts, all getting something different. we all agreed based on the ingredients, there were some reasonable expectation that this would not taste like ice cream. That was the case with two of the desserts, but the other two definitely had a richness and texture very similar to that of traditional ice cream, the other two, those based on the vanilla started with a slightly stronger flavor and also left a lasting taste in your mouth. All things considered I would consider going back, trying different varieties and finding an option or two that I like as I feel the ingredients lend themselves to healthier choices. I gave a three on the atmosphere due to its proximity out front and on the side to the highway and the driveway entrance. Wow! What an exciting find. 🤩Our kids were relieved that this ice cream wouldn’t upset their bellies but were nervous it would taste yucky, because…dairy-free / gluten free usually does. The No No Nuts Ice Creamwas so good though that our kids actually said “mom, I can’t actually tell it doesn’t have dairy, it just tastes good.” We were all so thankful that we could order anything off the menu and even more thankful when the ice cream itself was so delicious. We especially enjoyed the mint chocolate chip, birthday cake, squirrel something, and the gluten free cake cones. I cannot even remember the last time I got to eat the cone part of an ice cream cone, and it was incredibly satisfying and delicious.
