What place has the audacity to name itself after arguably the king of the BBQ cut? Brisket that's who, it backs it up on spades. I can't say enough about this place; the smoked meat was totally legit, beans were awesome, collards would make my grandma proud. The Cherry on top is meeting "Big D" out back. He said he made the collards which made my wife's day. When we get back to North Myrtle this is our first stop. ** Update ** A year later and we're back, and Brisket is better than ever. It totally made up for the dinner trainwreck from last night at another place. This is a must stop for us. ** Another Update ** Three years later (missed last year, thanks covid) still fantastic food. Go early (like 4) or plan to be very patient, but it's well worth the wait. The folks there are gems!! ** Yet another update ** Still our first stop to North Myrtle, Heather served us again and is awesome but the other folks make us feel like family. This place doesn't just fill your belly it fills your spirit. Our first must stop. Love you guys!! ** 2024 update ** Brisket is STILL our must stop and is still great. Lauren was an awesome server and we look forward to coming back!!

Came in on a Tuesday night and was greeted right away. I did a to-go order because I was in town for work and this place was close to my hotel. The bartender took my order and she was friendly. The food came out quick. I got chicken wings, a rib ,and the mac'n cheese appetizer.(the one with pulled pork on top) I was disappointed when I got back to the hotel and realize all my wings were FLATS. It was a six count and they didn't even give me one drumstick. The wings did taste good but I've had bigger and juicier wings at other bbq joints. The rib that I got was good fall off the bone but it was fatty. It had good smoke ring on it but it seemed kinda old like dryish. Then there is the mac and cheese I was not that big fan of it . The pulled pork had good smoke flavor but there were lots of pieces that were hard and dried. I think next time I visit I'll have to try the pork skins as an app and get the brisket with French fries.

The first time you walk into Brisket you'll probably be a little apprehensive, but worry not. It's got a bit of a biker bar vibe that makes you wonder what you're getting into. Once James gets you seated, hands you a well-worn menu and takes your drink order you should begin to recognize you are in the right spot for some good barbecue! We ordered the 'Feed Bag', a sort of sample tray of barbecue delights from chicken to ribs with brisket, pulled pork, and sausage with 3 (or 4?) sides. The menu says it will feed 4 to 5 people, but it's more like 6 to 7! Tons of really good food! Don't hesitate if you're looking for some great barbecue meat! James, the server, did a phenomenal job and laughed the whole time doing it.

We were a party of 6, while ordering I requested that my check which would have consisted of my me and my daughters meals be split off, the waitresses attitude immediately shifted and she said said we generally do not split checks. When questioned on the reasoning behind this and contemplating if we should just leave they agreed to split our checks. There was no signage stating they could/would not split checks at the time however while we were there they added a sign to the door requesting future parties to not split checks. After eating our food, which was okay, not terrible. We received our bill they were split however they took my card and the receipt with the correct bill and then charged the wrong bill to my card once he returned to the table he realized the 'mistake' and took my card along with my mother's card to 'fix' it, when they came back they returned my card to my mother with her bill charged to my card, and returned her card to me with my bill charged to hers. And tried to play it off as if they had stopped the original payment on my card and corrected it. How ever if they had attempted any kind of fix I would have had a pending charge for the original 'mistake' this was not the case. I believe they just took the other card and charged the other bill on it hoping we wouldn't notice. We did notice but decided to leave it as was and make it right amongst ourselves not trusting them to be able to resolve their mistake. This is unfortunate as I have eaten here in the past and was happy, however it seems the quality of the food is not as good as it was in the past and with the additional hassle of trying to pay, we will likely not return. Just adding as a warning if you have a group expect to pay...

If you're looking for a bbq place that's legit in Myrtle this is it! I had the burger with brisket and it was probably the best burger of my life. My daughter had the kids burger and she loved it. My husband had the 3 meats 2 sides and the meats were all great! He smokes meat at home and was very impressed with the smoke ring on the brisket. Definitely with a trip! We also got the nachos for an appetizer and they were awesome! Out waitress was a sweetheart! The owner is a nice guy and it was great to see him helping the waitresses out by cleaning tables, seating customers, and engaging with the customers. The homemade sauces are great. I regret not asking if they sell them. The ONLY complaint I have (and it's minor) is we were a party of 8 and the restaurant is TINY so as we were walking in the building trying to squeeze in the very packed restaurant the lady behind the bar yelled at us in a very unwelcoming way to shut the door. I get its hot in there but it was so unfriendly we almost walked right back out which we ended up seeing other customers do as she yelled at them. We then saw her talking about the customers (including us) about how dumb you have to be to leave a door open. Trust me we wanted in the building too. We weren't standing outside in the heat for fun. But don't let that scare you away...it really is a great little hidden treasure and we will...
