Staff were super nice and friendly! But me and my family didn’t come for nice and friendly people we came to see dolphins. I also understand that dolphins are wild animals, but this was not like other dolphin tours I’ve been on. The day before our tour we went to the dock and talk to some people coming off the boat and they said they didn’t see any dolphins due to the fact that they never went to the ocean. And as we were waiting for our turn to get on the boat. We asked some people getting off if they seen any dolphins and they said no, and that they did go to the ocean. To start off staff told us we would get a little wet, to which me and my were fine with getting a little wet. But that was not true we were all soaked from head to toe. And of course we didn’t see any dolphins!!! Like I said before I’ve been on several dolphin tours before and they have all went to the ocean and eventually stoped to see if we could see dolphins because dolphins like clam waters and like the music from the ships. But again I know you can’t control wild animals but we didn’t stop once. And I’m not trying to tell you what to do but you should just advertise it as a splash tour and say there’s a slim chance you...

We took the Feb 8th Sunset cruise on the Sea Racer and it was fantastic experience. From the ease of the ticket purchase online, to the people that welcomed us upon our arrival, to the captain and crew on the boat. They did everything possible to make sure we had a great time. They told everyone about the boat and its history and its capability as well as what we could expect along the trip. The captain and crew were professional and truly a pleasure, they made the trip much like having your best friends take you around to point out the sights. From making the passengers laugh to the crew taking pictures for anyone that wanted one, it could not have been better. The captain also pointed out different scenic spots as well as dolphins playing in the wake of the boat at different times in plenty of time for anyone to see. If you go to Fort Myers, this is by far the BEST time you could have on the water in Fort Myers bare non. I know we will take another trip on the Sea Racer in April when we go back. We own a Limousine company in Maine and will highly recommend the Sea Racer trips to all our snow bird clients and families and friends , going to the Fort Myers area.

Date of experience:...

Worst part of our vacation. Took the time to drive an hour away from our hotel to drive here and they said “wind was bad” my family was fine to go out. When the wind excuse ran out she ran around to other passengers and said if they get seasick they will be sick all day and it was nuts. It was a little windy. They also told everyone they don’t feed dophins and it’s random if you see them or not. I really think that the captain just got lazy. Initially we where told that they have gone with just two people and had us wait there 45 minutes overall ridiculous don’t take time out of your vacation for this nonsense tons of fun things to do in Myrtle beach and this isn’t one of them Edited after owner reply:There where at least 15 people that where willing to go on the boat ride even just the inlet. I’m assuming other people also drove with kids. I just checked the weather again and there was absolutely nothing about choppy water just a heat warning. They also told us at the start they would still go even if only two people wanted to go and we waisted more time out of our vacation. If they where going to refuse to drive people they should’ve done that. We where not the only...

My wife and I booked a trip kind of last minute, the night before the tour. Very friendly staff, being as dolphins are wild animals my wife and I went into this solely for the boat ride and if we did see dolphins that would be a plus. We took the 11am tour and we’re fortunate enough to see a lot of dolphins. The tour was about an hour and a half, in that time we saw probably 20 or more dolphins, we even saw a couple baby dolphins. A huge sea turtle and a lot of purple jelly fish as well. Overall it was a great experience, that we really enjoyed. Also if you’re hungry after the tour there are several restaurants within walking distance. One of the restaurants offers 10% off if you mention searacer sent you, which saved us an extra $5. Thank you Captain Terry for being an awesome guide! A tip for those that would like to see the dolphins, if at all possible book the 11am tour. The searacer takes you near a “bait ball” which is a feeding device used to feed the fish. The dolphins (and seagulls) were very active around the bait hall at 11am.

My kids and I had a great time even though we didn't get to see any dolphins. We unfortunately had to cut our tour short due to an unexpected storm that came out of nowhere and were fully refunded. We got soaked!! But the captain and deckhand were wonderful, very attentive and provided ponchos for anyone that wanted one. Our safety was their priority. Before the storm approached, they were very interactive with the tourists and made it super fun. The deckhand went to every group offering to take pictures for people on their cell phone and they provided cold drinks for $2. We came from Niagara Falls, NY and didn't get a chance to rebook before our vacation ended but if we ever go back I would definitely do it again. Once we got back on land my kids and danced in the rain and splashed in puddles. We will never forget it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had the best time on the sea racer! Dave and captain Julio were great! Dave even went around and offered to take pictures for everyone. The boat had music and played a good assortment. I liked that they allowed us to bring our own drinks and snacks with us instead of paying for overpriced things. There’s a vending machine close by if you need to grab a drink before hand. We did get a little wet which was welcomed and refreshing because it was a hot day. Be sure to wear sunblock/sunglasses. There are a few seats in the back with shade but Dave said those seats get the wettest. We were lucky enough to see lots of dolphins on our trip but even if we didn’t it would still be worth it for the boat ride. We will definitely be doing this again next year!
