Little River Watersports — Attraction in South Carolina

On June 14,2019 my wife and I ( both 64 years of age) decided to take our granddaughter and her friend ( both 17 years old and first timers) on a jet ski adventure. Since we are older and it was the girls first time, we bought the one hour inter-coastal tour so it would be a smoother ride. Upon arriving, we met Brett, our guide. Brett was polite and courteous as he gave us preliminary instructions. We then proceeded straight out to the big chops of the ocean where everyone got beat up and sore for about 40 minutes. Brett was always way ahead and finally when we got the chance we told him that we were supposed to be only on the inter-coastal. We had never taken the tour and did not know if this was part of the tour or not. He apologized and said he thought we were on the ocean tour. It would be a good idea to verify with your guide BEFORE you go out. We then took about a 35 minute ride on the inter-coastal which was great and everyone enjoyed. We wished we had...

Me and my 8 year old son took out a jet ski for a one hour ocean tour and had a blast. The staff was very happy and friendly and seemed to legitimately enjoy what they were doing. We did the tour at 8am and ended up being the only riders with Brett. We got to run wide open through the waterways all the way to the ocean. He gave us free reign of the ocean but after about 10 minutes the swells became too much and we spent more time jumping and splashing in the swells instead of going fast so Brett took us back into the creeks and intracoastal and we got to run wide open again. This time my son got to drive. We went all the way up between Sunset and Ocean Isle before turning around. There was little boat traffic which also allowed my son to drive. I highly recommend these guys the prices are way less than anything in Myrtle or N Myrtle and there is more room to ride. I recommend the 8am time spot. Absolutely incredible experience today! Wow!! 10+ dolphins up close on Jet Ski!!

I highly recommend the 2hr trip and going as early as possible! Our guide Zach recommended we take the 8am jet ski so we did - and because we booked so early it ended up being more like a private tour with just my mom, sister and I in the entire party! Zach was extremely knowledgeable about where to take us with the changing tides and gave us complete control as to whether we wanted to ride on the ocean or coastal waterway. We were able to catch the dolphins swimming behind a shrimp boat and it was the most magical experience! I wouldn’t jet ski anywhere else... as a visitor I am blown away.
