My family of 5 visited your Myrtle Beach Location on May 4th,2019. We checked in for a pre purchased sale, purchased online. While the track was fun the Arcade experience was the complete opposite. First game we played was located near the recharge station which had a claw machine with prize tickets. We won a little over 900 tickets which my kids seemed to absolutely enjoy. After redeeming the tickets we decided to take another look around the arcade while deciding what to do next and noticed another ticket machine that also had tickets in the shape of a duck tap roll, but prize tickets where very visible. Taking another look around we noticed another very large machine in the middle of the arcade that had large rolls which said “The Track”. Now... as a customer we are under the impression that these tickets could be used for “Anything” at the track. Unlike the other 2 machines that the prize tickets where very visible to see, these where not and found out that it was only useable for prize tickets just like the other machines that we had come across during our time at The Track. AS A CUSTOMER... I expressed the concern that this machine should possibly have a sign posted on it that it is not useable for the outdoor activities. The young lady up front basically stated “well, it’s the name of the facility”. She stated that she could get her manager and I could discuss it with him! As I am standing here in shock and not sure if it was even worth talking to the manager at this point, I finally agreed to talk to the manager. Response time for the manager to get there was very quick but discussion with him was very unpleasant. Again.... My main reason of discussing this with him was to make him aware that this machine may possibly need something as simple as a sign and also what my first impression of the machine was. This Manager Cole, which by the way did not want to provide his name and also told me not to write it down!, was EXTREMELY rude! Coles response to me was “ well you expect me to give away $50? It’s like putting $1 dollar in the machine and getting $50 back...... This manager needs to be Completely retrained! This machine in my opinion is no different than the Beats By Dre machine that sits directly behind it. You put $1 in the machine and if you win you get an almost $150-$200 pair of headphones. We definitely will not be returning to this...
Read moreIt’s been 2 yrs since our last visit. It's still one of our favorite places to go as a family. There’s something here for everyone. The games are fun for all ages and the go carts are still amazing. While my kids aren’t interested in the rides (other than Go Carts) they look very inviting for younger kids who aren’t quite ready for Go Carts but want that experience. The two-level racetrack had our teens hooked and the games kept Mom, Dad and our 10yr old busy for over 4 hrs. Time flies when you are having fun. The place is very clean, well-lit and the staff is super friendly and professional. Lisa and CJ did a great job of taking care of us throughout our visit. When we had an issue with a game, CJ came right away and got it fixed and checked on us later to make sure the machine was working well. All the staff was polite, respectful, and professional.
I highly recommend getting the bigger point cards since you save so much. You can buy a 250 point card (Best Deal) and then split it into smaller cards, i.e. 5 x 50 point cards, or even get two 250 point cards(500 pts) and do four 125 point cards. The staff is very helpful in making the points work best for your family. Compared to most places in Myrtle Beach, this is one of, if not, the best bang for your buck you can find. I have found that a good rough estimate is 1 point per 1.5 minutes you want to be there. That is our family average so far. Our ten yr old like to play the big risk/big reward games so he burns through tickets faster but he also got a sweet pair of sunglasses (I’d guess$50-$100) and a pair of Beats headphones.
I’ve never seen a coupon for this place, and I have never felt I needed one. I have always been very happy with what we got for the money we spent, it’s a great value for the price. Our family makes this the last thing we do before we head home which always ends our trip on a high note. We’ll be coming here every time we go to Myrtle Beach.
Great staff and a great place to bring your family. There's something for everyone of every age. It's a little pricey but the larger the package you buy, the cheaper it gets. The go carts are fast and fun. The kids rides are fun too. Military...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed in the hotel next to The Track, the night before our wedding, as it was being built almost 8 years ago. We finally got to go with 3 out of our 4 kids and had a pretty good time. We raced both big tracks with different experiences from a staff perspective. One side had courteous, friendly, and kind staff members. My 4 year old daughter told one of guys that her steering wheel smelt like poop, and he took time to tell her that it shouldn't smell like that. He adjusted the steering wheel so it wasn't so close to her face and was very patient with her. The other side had rude, impatient, and inconsiderate staff members. I only found out because my wife told me after the fact. She told me that as she was trying to buckle our daughter up, one of the staff asked if she needed help, and she said no, that she was just having a slight issue with the buckle. He asked if she'd done it before, and she told him yes. His reply was, obviously not. She told me of another sarcastic remark made by another person, but I don't recall what was said. Needless to say, we didn't go back to that side and road carts on the side where the staff seemed to enjoy their job and treated customers with respect. It was a little disappointing that the middle carnival style rides weren't operational, but I'm guessing the season hasn't come in fully for those to be going, so I'm not holding that against them. The arcade was ok, but half the games were claw machines. A bit more variety would go a long way, in my opinion. At the end of the day, the kids had a good time and enjoyed themselves, which is what my wife and I wanted to accomplish. Our kids want to go back, so we'll make another trip to The Track and see if there's a significant difference or if it's a...
