Wow, I was so disappointed tonight. We have been ordering from Coast for the past few years. I have recommended them on Facebook, to my renters, friends and family. Tonight it was just a few of us so I ord we ordered a margarita pizza. Yhat was one we can't try with the kids. I was expecting a great pizza as usual. Instead it arrived with no basil. I immediately called because the fresh basil is what makes the pizza. I spoke with Dan the owner. He said call me next time for a discount. I will not be back for months and I wanted the pizza I ordered and paid 25.00 for. So he said I could come back and pick up some basil. So now I get to enjoy a cold pizza with basil. I then asked for a credit. He said he couldn't do that because I had the pizza. He then asked for my address and phone number. I thought he was bringing me a new pizza, but instead. We received a small cup of basil. The chef who made the mistake brought the basil and was very apologetic. However we still ate cold pizza and I am very disappointed in the owner and how he handled this situation. I guess I will be finding a restaurant for pizza Be prepared if they mess up your pizza. They will not do the...
Read moreI decided today to stop by @Coast Pizza for lunch. I had a friend in town who who wanted to have a quick lunch..
We chose Coast Pizza because they have pizza by the slice AND they also have a good selection of sandwiches. Not to mention they were right around the corner from where she was at the time, so it just made sense. I'll be quite honest, I have heard people talk about Coast for sometime now, but I just have not taken the to time to go check it out. I have noticed their social media presence.....I see their stuff daily, I just had not taken the time to go.
Kind of glad.we made the decision to go today! What sold me was the fact they had pizza by the slice and it was also close to where she was at the time.
The had a friendly quick and efficient staff. By a casual observation I could tell that they were popular among locals because I saw several service workers in and out and I noticed a friend who works at a nearby medical office was there with a coworker picking up pizza for the office.
All in all, I'll be back if I'm up...
Read moreI've tried it 2 different times so far. First time was not long after they opened. The 2nd time was in April 21. I will say that the first time I randomly came across them while in the shopping plaza. Since I'm always hunting for good pizza, I quickly stopped in to try them out. I will say I was pretty pleased that first time. Cool guys, the pizza was pretty good, I enjoyed it. I probably wouldn't run back there from little river for it. But would get in when in the area.
The 2nd more recently stop in that I made was not as appealing. I got a some slices, and to me they seemed pretty small for counter slices, especially for the price, compared to other pizzerias use a larger pie for slices. I forget exactly what it was. Maybe $7+ for a couple slices. (Now I do forget if the slice my friend asked for had toppings) But I know some of my regular pizza spots do 2 slices and a soda for $5 from 11-3. Plus they're Big. Pizza is inexpensive to make, so even $2.50 a slice is pretty high. I will give them another whirl if I'm back...
