It was an amazing morning dive with Kyalami charters for the Jupiter wreck trek. The crew’s service is excellent, especially my private guide Brandon. ABOUT THE PRIVATE GUIDE: I got nitrox certified along with this amazing dive as an add-on. The process is smooth with every document needed prepared and handed to me in order. My rentals were brought to the boat, and set up by my guide ( I did it myself just because I wanted to practice setting up, but he offered and did the safety checks). Underwater Brandon checks on me frequently and stick nearby to ensure safety. He points out animals swim by, such as sharks, turtles and in our case, the goliath groupers, and even offered to video me since I was holding a GoPro. He also found me a lemon shark tooth as a souvenir, which I found astonishing. I lost my GoPro while climbing up the boat, but he retrieved it for me along with all these amazing videos that this camera carried. ABOUT THE DIVE In addition to the groups of Goliath groupers we met at this spawning season, during the safety stop we were so lucky to have this group of lemon sharks swam around us and even a tiger shark encounter. It was amazing seeing them travel peacefully around us. The drift dive in general is relaxing and not too pushy (it got strong for a few moments but then went away, Brandon found us a safe place to be during the relatively stronger current). ABOUT THE AMENITY AND CREW The crew and the amenity is also very nice. There’s pre-dive briefing is clear. After surfacing, the boat found us immediately. My fins were taken care of by crew member Spencer before I climb up the boat, he also helped me to my seat and bucked up my tank. It was a pleasure finding some watermelon prepared for us after the first dive, along with plenty of water, gatorade, and soft drinks. There’s a bathroom on board, a water bucket specifically for underwater cameras, some slots for water bottles, a rail to hold on up top and on the side when you need to move with your equipments before entering the water… CONCLUSION It was a great experience for me, Brandon is an excellent dive guide. I would definitely dive with them again.

My new, fav dive operator! Unsurprising, considering the hospitality of the crew and boat amenities are much the same (if not better) than the Jupiter Kyalami. Kyalami Too (boat name) is a great boat, and one of the few I would feel comfortable on in choppy waters. The crew (shout-out Mike and Justin) always have my DIN tanks waiting for me, and I rarely wait to have them EAN analyzed so I can continue setting up quickly. Captain Luke is a stellar navigator, and I think he gets this boat the closest to diver pickup of any captain. While he'll hold off fishing boats and give 'em an earful, he doesn't engage in aggressive dialogue or drive-by waking (something I have seen plenty of with other dive charters) The boat's got a lower station, so divers can gather around and remove fins before coming up the step ladder. Freshly cut fruit during the surface interval will never get old, and I don't know why more boats don't offer it. A full, hour-long surface interval isn't always offered in SoFlo, but is so important. Navigation underwater from the DM is spectacular, and The Corridor is my preferred over that of the Wreck Trek in Jupiter. Overall, you can't go wrong with the kindness and helpfulness of The Scuba Club and Kyalami Too. And that 10am daily departure is *chef's kiss*

The Captain and crew of the Kyalami II were great and tended to our needs whenever we asked a question or needed something! There were plenty of refreshments and snacks for all. We did 4 tank dives the last day and the seas were really rough with at least 4ft breakers. The Captain of the boat really show his skills in navigating the rough water, each time he had to manipulate his boat to pick up a diver/divers. The crew member at the aft end of the boat was also very skilled at picking up divers out of the water in the rough conditions, the captain and the crew member worked in sync together and made sure all divers were safely on board. Once all divers were onboard the dive boat, a head count was made and assured that everyone was accounted for. Dive and Safety briefings were conducted before we left the marina each day. We will be back for more! Thanks to every member of the Kyalami SCUBA Club, from the shop staff to the deck hands and check in staff. Friendliness courtesy and professionalism surely showed with this crew. Sincerely; Donna and Tom Christensen.

I have been coming to West Palm Beach to dive for several years now, and the crew and experiences I've had diving with Kyalami are a huge reason why I return to this area for dive vacations.

I dove both Monday (7/24/2023) and Tuesday (7/25/2023) with Mike as the guide on their boat out of Riviera Beach City Marina. The original plan was to dive out of Jupiter on the sites further north, but due to conditions they shifted south for viz and temp reasons. This was communicated wonderfully by Mark, who reached out personally to make sure I was aware and knew exactly where to go.

The dives themselves were fantastic - we saw a plethora of turtles (three species of turtles on one dive - a trifecta!), sharks on multiple dives, goliath groupers, squid over the reef, morays galore, scads of lobster blissfully unaware of the looming mini season, and healthy coral gardens teeming with schools of fish and small life that will keep photographers quite satisfied. I really can't do justice to the different species of fish you will see, but strongly suggest you stay close to Mike if you're afraid of missing any highlights.

What really stands out, is their service and ability to work with all levels of divers. The boat had a mixture of students taking a class with instructor Brandon, a group on a private excursion with Mark, and a group of experienced divers. Conscientious choices of dive sites and plans were made to make sure all levels of divers had a fantastic time.

Both the instructor and private guide did an excellent job of giving additional information, supporting their respective groups, and making sure they were comfortable in and out of the water. The crew was everywhere at once it seemed: making sure everyone had what they needed.

I will be diving with them again this Friday, and plan on continuing to return to them when I am back in the area for my annual trek south from New York. The entire crew takes safety seriously, but balances that wonderfully with calm demeanors, patience, and good-hearted camaraderie.

I highly recommend Kyalami Scuba Club for your next dive be, but must remind any readers that this is drift diving, an SMB is a must, and that current is...

I got my open water here 3 years ago. I think I was a real pain in the #@%^&..... but my instructor Wayne put up with all my stupid questions and it was probably the most fun I've had learning anything before! Since then I have probably 100 dives with them. I have been to others in the area and they are all safe and professional, but the Scuba club gives you a sense of community. There is always 3 dive guides in the water...most with worldwide experience and keep track of every diver. They make sure all the air divers are together and making their way up at 30min and the Nitrox divers are guided by the remaining 2 dive guides. They are always happy to see you and it really is about FUN, they love to dive and they love to show customers good stuff. The Scuba Club is by far the best location for diving as there dock is the closest to the best diving in the area. It's a 10min boat ride vs. 40 from other places. You can always expect to see the same dive guides every time you visit, which builds a really fun relationship plus you know they are there because the LOVE DIVING and not just a job. In regards to the post about hunting...Most people don't consider grabbing a crustacean "hunting". To absolutely clear The Scuba Club DOES NOT allow any spear fishing/ hunting (except necessary lion fish control) Yes the place is getting up there in age, however improvements are being made monthly...it adds a lot of character to the place...it's cool. No place else has 2 pools and one of those pools is 17 foot deep for trying out equipment and making sure you can clear your ears, buoyancy testing etc... The only negative is the dive platform vs. stair...but some argue this is safer. I could dive with any number of other dive shops ( and I do) but I have so much fun diving with these guys... and stuff they continually show me (last week we made 7 wrecks in 1 dive!!!!) keeps me coming back...
