extremely disappointed this last visit. Spent $65 this time with them and the whole tres leches cake was rancid. smelled and tasted sour. this was part of a birthday gift/ lunch for my girlfriend. Honestly not a big deal... things happen... but then i called and the woman told me nothing could be done until tomorrow morning. what?? no one there can make a decision on this to assist tonight? i have to go out of my way to come tomorrow morning? I run a business just like you guys are trying to do. i dont have time for this tomorrow. i could have came tonight. Keep the $10. I wont be coming back. Now i have to doubt all of their food, their meats, bread and integrity. i have no guarantee that any of it will be fresh OR handled properly if an issue arises. this place will be out of business soon... if you dont believe me then check their palm beach post article that they lied about, saying then had to close for a gas line repair when really it was roaches ---- "The inspector found “numerous live roaches in back room and food prep areas,” including the sandwich prep area, a meat slicer, a work station storage drawer, on the wall in the kitchen, on the floor near a dry-storage cabinet and near the kitchen sink, according to that day’s report." AND Other violations cited include employees failing to wash their hands before putting on gloves, no paper towels at a hand-washing sink, uncovered food containers in sandwich prep cooler, raw chicken stored over cooked chicken in the walk-in cooler and in the sandwich prep cooler and lack of sanitizer in back room sink. Save your money and your health and go...
Read moreThey have good potential but the day I went there, their bakery are so old looking. Normally I like fruit tart but I didn’t want to buy it because the fruits looked dried up like it has been sitting there for at least 5 days. The ecleir is so dry and tough to bite. I had to throw away after 1st bite. The mini roll is inedible, had spit out. It’s so chewy and no taste. Almost chewing thrown away food. The flan is ok, a bit tougher than usual flan like they cooked with too high of a temperature but edible. That might be their specialty to make it different. The tres Leche cake is the most edible one since it’s packed in the close container. The chocolate ball is on the dry side, nothing fancy. Tough to swallow. The long cookie is quite a surprise, pretty good but too bad it’s way too old and the texture of the jam is so dry and chewy like glue. Otherwise this cookie would had been great. Overall I like this place. Hopefully they’ll sell pastries faster and rotate fresh ones sooner, so the costumer doesn’t have to...
Read moreWhen I called to place this cake order, I senses there was a language barrier which is 1000% fine, but I did want to make sure the name on my cake was spelt correctly. I spelt out Brendan phonetically for the woman on the phone- b as in bravo, r as in Romeo, etc etc. it took about 6-7 corrections before we made sure BRENDAN was the name being written on the cake. Brendan was in fact on the order form- but my cake was made out to Bridan. I asked them to fix it, they said I’d have to go to their other location and they’d make me a new one, or I could come back tomorrow. The cake was for today. I asked for a refund and they offered me a partial refund (I paid $28 they gave me 15 back) and I could keep the cake. I accepted, but overall a disappointing experience. It’s for my adult boyfriend so it’s not a big deal, but I can imagine if a child had their name spelt incorrectly on their birthday cake they may be more upset, and the same goes for if this cake was for a more...
