Main Square Park — Attraction in North Township

We went to the park for the 4th of July festival. There were rides and booths to purchase crafts and such. They also had a 5K followed by a parade. It was pretty busy, but everyone was friendly. The parade was a little slow, but it was still pretty good. There were many police officers there who were all very approachable and easy to talk to. They had quite a few food vendors. They also had a beer garden and a huge tent with tables and chairs to enjoy the delicious food and beverages. It was a nice place for the kids but their no money back policy is outragous. I bought my kid a braclet and ten minutes later they shut the place down because of possible thunderstorms and would not give anyone their money back. They did end up opening up the place back up and stayed open later but that was only good for the people that came back to the carnival. The people that left because we couln't even wait in the park because it was being evacuated, lost out on all their hard earn money. Other than that, good rides and pretty open place. Same - 9/17/22 Food was good. Felt like we were getting robbed. 3 awesome tacos for $10. The same tacos at bossman for $1.50 each. The funnel cakes are 6 inches for $9. With little toppings.
