I have to say after reading all the reviews I was hesitant on coming here. I'm so glad that I DID!! The store itself on the outside doesn't look like much, but they have a wonderful selection for all shapes and sizes & top designers. I found my beautiful wedding gown here. They were pretty busy when my mom and I walked in, but they told us that they would be right with us. (It was Saturday all bridal shops are busy!) After some customers left we were helped by the wonderful Nanette. She had me fill out some paperwork and then she took me back to the dresses and started asking me questions about what I liked, price range and questions about my wedding. I picked out some and she took them back to the fitting room. She picked out some as well that she thought I may love. We went back to fitting room which was very large and clean inside. From what I saw there were 4 rooms. She was so patient and kind with me she took the time to ask me more questions and we went outside to the step stool (after another brides was done with it) and went out to the big mirror. She asked me where the dresses ranked in order, what I didn't like etc, not once did I feel pressured to buy or anything. She actually took the time to button every single button and I didn't feel rushed at all during my appointment. (I've gone to many places and they didn't even bother to button all the buttons or anything just clamped it shut) I was very pleased. I found the dress that I loved!! I knew it was it, but I still wanted to look elsewhere and I didn't feel like I needed to buy it that day or she didn't make me feel like I wasn't important after I said that either. She made the experience wonderful. After trying on about 9 dresses, we went out and she asked me briefly about my bridesmaids and we wrote down some styles that I liked too. She was so helpful. I'm so glad that I came here initally because I wasn't going to just because of the reviews. My advice is to really take into consideration what people think, but don't let it stop you from having your own experience. Not only did I go back and purchase my dress, but my sister in law bought hers there too and had a wonderful experience. I'm taking my bridesmaids here soon too to try styles that they like. After going to 5 different shops in Illinois; both city and suburb, I decided to go out on a limb and try a Bridal Shop outside of Illinois. I checked online for different options and was very happy that the Elegance website showed an abundance of wedding dresses on their site! That was rare, because most Bridal Shops tend to hide the dresses they offer for some reason. I decided to call and make an appointment after writing down some of the styles I liked online. I was very impressed by the questions I was asked on the phone to get to know me better and get a sense of my style preferences. I was even asked about designer preferences. I was also sent a Questionnaire to find out more about the dream dress I had hoped to find. I received reminders about my appointment the days leading up to my appointment. I was very excited for my appointment and when I arrived, they just made my experience even better... I saw my name displayed on a board in order of the Brides they would be seeing that day, the display was so cute! In the beginning of my appointment Daphne, my wedding consultant reviewed the details of the type of dress I was looking for and I did not feel rushed at all, as I did at other shops. The process of picking out dresses was very organized and cute. Daphne made me feel comfortable and ensured I was happy throughout the whole process. She did not push her own opinions on me and did not overly compliment me, just like SO MANY other shops do just to get a sale in. I was a bride on a budget, but was given options to save money, which I was so happy about!! I was extremely happy that I was able to buy my dress off the rack!!! I ENDED SAYING YES TO MY DRESS and enjoyed every minute of it!!! Daphne, my sister and myself celebrated and had many laughs throughout my appointment. I felt Daphne was so genuine and even gave the best hugs, I really felt her sincerity and happiness for me as well!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELEGANCE WEDDING AND EVENING BOUTIQUE....

I bought my wedding dress from Elegance in August 2019. I worked with Haley when trying to find my dress and she was awesome. She was very nice and personable. I ended up buying my dress the same day. My dress arrived around February 2020.

I unfortunately had to postpone my original wedding date due to Covid-19. Elegance had no issues with changing all my paper work to my new date that was a year away (May 2020 to May 2021). However, prior to postponing I was able to try my dress on for my first original fitting in March of 2020. The dress fit great. Fast forward a full year to my next fitting, luckily, the dress still fit and there was minimal work that HAD to be done.

I am from Indianapolis, and the Elegance staff had no issues accommodating my limited travel schedule to get my fittings in. This was extremely helpful.

Within the next three visits, I worked with Charlott mainly, but all the staff there were always very nice. Charlott was fantastic to work with. Very personable, kind, and knowledgeable. She added the bustle, some extra fabric to lengthen the dress due to my height, and some lace near the armpits so I would feel more comfortable with the racer back fit of the dress.

Upon request, Charlott added beautiful custom bead work around the neckline of the dress and changed the buttons on my illusion back to white buttons. She did amazing work with everything. I also got the blue heart sewn into my dress for my something blue. It said “Forever in my heart Charlie” for my brother that passed away. It was such a meaningful addition and I’m so grateful they brought it to my attention. I was genuinely surprised with how reasonably priced the alterations were.
