Yes they are very friendly when are buying. However when you need to sell something they sold me appraisal and all all they. Oils say was we’re sorry pear shaped diamond isn’t real selling when there appraisal for my round diamond of 5,000 was in hand. She used a bright blue light on the round diamond id purchased from her and she couldn’t say enough good qualities about it and today early 5 years later she offered me $800!!!!!! Then why would she sell me an 800$ ring for 5,000 especially when everything absolutely everything especially jewelry has increased In value?!? Then I asked her “Karen “ to weight and price an 18kt gold 22” double tassel chain I paid $800 for. And she said it was only $80! Can you believe that? Highway robbery. Business must be very bad for them but if I can save another person from getting overcharged and lied to this long message was worth it. Buyer Beware!!!! I told so in this store things only have value when we purchase not when we try and make changes or recoup our money in any way? Be careful, go to a reputable place and ask them for product protocol ahead of time. Just avoid Highland Jewelers. Lastly it took them Three weeks to receive my appraisal...

Called a few places like Albert’s and others in the area to inquire the price and turn around time on taking links out of a Gold Tennis Bracelet. Most said 1-2 weeks! Didn’t get to the prices after that! So I called Highland Jewelers and over the phone Karen told me “Come on in, We’ll take care of that for you!” Very nice! So I went in and she originally said a couple days (Wednesday when I went in) I asked if it could be done by Friday and she said yes! I dropped it off at 12pm… by 2:30pm the SAME DAY she called to say it was finished!!!! Amazing service! The bracelet was better than i left it! Great friendly service! Only down fall was price. For 2 stone links to be cut (2 thin gold wires) and 1 soldered back, was $80!!!! $40 a piece! Definitely on the expensive side but… the speed and quality was worth it to me! Especially since I needed it quickly. If you need jewelry repair/sizing… I highly recommend!! They also had a nice showroom. Family owned and operated! I know they’ve been there for a long time! I dropped off my wedding ring on Friday 7/18 at 2pm because it had a missing diamond. I asked for an estimate for the repair and also an estimate for a matching wedding band. They said they would call me the following day, Saturday, with the estimate for the missing diamond. No one called me Saturday. Sunday-Monday they were closed. I called Tuesday at 3pm and the man who answered the phone told me they couldn’t find my ring, it wasn’t where it was supposed to be. He took my number and said they would look for it and call me back. Thirty minutes later, no one had called me back. I called them back and someone else told me it would be ready on Thursday. I immediately drove over to pick up my ring, they gave it to me and said “sorry it didn’t work out.” Sorry it didn’t work out?! Sorry you didn’t call me when you said you would TWICE?!
