My son was very graciously gifted a certificate that covered a free basic kidās haircut for the month of August. I called on August 30th to schedule an appointment while mentioning the certificate but the barber that answered said I could just walk in & no appointment was needed. I couldnāt make it then so on August 31st after looking at the certificate again, noticed it said an appointment was needed so I called again before just walking in with my son. Gail, the barber that answered, said he ādidnāt do those,ā whatever that means, then put me on hold to consult with someone else. He got back on and told me they were really busy and only had 4 barbers present so that I should just come tomorrowā¦being today, September 1st. I said, āreally? Are you sure? because this certificate is only for the month of august and tomorrow is September already?ā He said yes. Today, after school, I walk-in with my son. And was immediately told they are no longer accepting the certificates. I explained the situation of the last couple of days to the barber but he surprised me by saying that that Gail no longer works there. When I asked since when, he said since yesterday. lol (what?!) and then just repeated himself telling me that the owner himself told him they were done with the certificates. I asked if he could please contact the owner to let him know that the barber Gail had assured me it was okay to come by today Sept. 1st and without an appointment at that. He hesitantly called the owner and just to ask āHey we are no longer accepting the certificates right?ā Before telling me no. He didnāt even mention Gail or what, I, as a customer was assured. I believe that being a business owner entails taking some level of ownership and responsibility regarding what your barbers/employees tell clients. Even while Gail is not an employee today, he was yesterday. I find this situation was handled very unprofessionally by the business owner of this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHello, came to this barbershop and i had an appointment at 1:00 p.m with Dino. Walked in sat down, no acknowledgement from anyone. I couldnāt help and notice when other customers walked in after me like this man and his son they were greeted right away along with other customers except me. My appointment was for 1:00, didnāt happen. at like 1:33 Dino acknowledged me finally and asked who i was waiting for. I said Dino, i have a 1:00 appointment. It was 1:35 at that time, very unprofessional and disappointing. Why make a appointment if it wont be taken serious by barber Dino and this black label cut parlor. This experience was horrible, why have appointments through the cut app if they wont be taken serious and honored. Very sad, let me add when Dino finally told me to have a seat and then told me that he would be right back so he can go get his food to a guy who was cooking outside. No acknowledgement, appointment disregarded, then already late past my appointment for 1:00 then wants to get his lunch.(what a joke) Made me wait longer, i was getting my hair cut at 1:40 from a 1:00 appointment (40 minutes waiting) let me add Dino confirmed my 1:00 appointment already from yesterday. Horrible experience. This place sucks, wont be back. Management needs to take their customers serious...
