I purchased two all-day tickets for my children on July 4th. While they had a great time at Ninja Kidz Action Park during the day, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare when my son realized that night he had left my second phone at the facility. The next morning, I called the park. After dealing with frustrating pre-recorded messages, I was finally able to leave a voicemail. Cordell called back about an hour later. I explained my child believed he left the phone in one of the cubbies. Cordell put me on hold to check, then returned saying he didn’t see anything. I asked if maybe it had been found during closing. He said no, but that I could come in and look for it myself. I drove from Illinois to Hammond, Indiana. When I arrived, Cordell was on the phone, so I spoke with a front desk associate. We didn’t find the phone in any cubbies. I asked what happens if something falls into the foam pit. She said, “If you want, you can look now.” My sister and I declined. Then she said the foam pit is cleaned nightly and took my contact info in case it turned up. That night, we called again before closing, gave our contact info to another employee, still nothing. The next morning, we called again, left another voicemail, and again, received no call back. Around noon, we drove back to Indiana hoping for an update. This time, Cordell was available. He acted as if he didn’t know what was going on. I reminded him we had already spoken and even recalled what he had been wearing the day before. His nonchalant attitude and lack of urgency were upsetting. He eventually said, “Let me check,” went to the back, and came out with a phone, but it wasn’t ours and didn’t match the description. When I asked when it was found, he didn’t respond and went silent. I expressed my frustration. It felt like no one cared that a phone was lost or wanted to help. I asked again about their lost and found policy. He just told us we could go search the foam pit ourselves. So, my sister and I began to search. Then we stopped to ask ourselves: if the staff “cleans” the pit nightly, why are we doing this? We showed Cordell proof that the phone was fully charged and still pinging at that location, but the music was so loud we couldn’t hear anything. After getting nowhere, we asked for corporate’s number. He made a call and handed us a Human Resources email, completely unhelpful. We're not employees; why would we need HR? Fed up, I found the contact info for a former manager, Ashton, through Google reviews. Despite no longer working there, Ashton was professional and helpful. He explained that the foam pit is not actually cleaned out nightly, just sanitized, and that customers are allowed to come at closing and search for up to 30 minutes. He personally called Cordell and arranged for us to return at closing. That night, we drove to Indiana again. The night manager and another associate helped us search. After going through four or five areas in the 1st foam pit, the associate suddenly asked us to describe the phone again. Bothe the manager and the associate looked like a light bulb went off. She went to the back, and came out with my phone.
It had been sitting in the back office for days.
So after all the calls, the multiple trips between Illinois and Indiana, the wasted time, money, and gas, the phone had been found long ago, and no one told us. Cordell knew. The staff knew. Yet we were turned away multiple times with no explanation and zero effort to notify us. This entire experience was unacceptable. The dishonesty, lack of communication, and complete disregard for customer service were unbelievable. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I will never return to Ninja Kidz Action Park, and I’m warning everyone I know to avoid wasting their time or money...
Read moreToday we celebrated my daughter’s 5th birthday at this establishment! Overall it was a 5/10 experience which is an F!! The kids enjoyed themselves of course jumping. As the parents however, this was the first and last party we will be having here.
Let’s break down the logistics for the adults paying for the party. You have your child party there for a total of 2hrs. Decent, until it’s not. Your kids get 90mins of jump time. But they cut that down to 75mins because they call your party up 45mins up before your end time to eat pizza and sing happy birthday. Our party host was wonderful in the beginning. The website indicated that the party host will be readily available however when it was time to eat she was nowhere to be found. We did not have utensils to cut and serve the pizza so we had to use spoons and napkins. In the middle of use serving the pizza she told my husband that they wanted us to pay the final amount now WHILE WE ARE SERVING THE PIZZA! During the party, a drink fell, the party host was no where to be found. Having to clean this up ourselves and paying for the party while trying to serve food for the party we were a little behind schedule. When it came time to sing Happy Birthday, we were not given any cutlery so I had to search for the party host AGAIN to ask for spoons. So to be honest our party was supposed to be over at 2:30, we didn’t leave the party table until about 2:45 but the time could’ve been saved if our party host remained amazing from the beginning to end. Also, my husband had to correct them on the amount owed since they didn’t factor in our membership discount. We couldn’t validate the amount was correct because he was told he COULD NOT GET A RECEIPT. Ninja Kidz Park, you all do amazing for the kids jumping however, please understand that the parents are the one paying and need to feel supported when it comes to party management. We are trusting you to make it easier on us...
Read moreMy kids enjoyed this place and it was a wonderful experience. The monitor Joyrdan was on duty and a great source of information as to where everything was and what was and was not allowed. This place is popular and there were like 2 or more birthdays happening. They call out your wrist band color so you know when your time is up, if you can and have small children I would pay for the jump till 9 pass. My younger one was so reluctant to leave we had paid for the 90 minutes pass thought it would be long enough but he still had a lot of energy so I know better next time. Also it's recommended to purchase tickets online for guaranteed entry. They have a capacity limit and they follow it. We got there at like 230ish and were told we would not be able to jump till 4. My son was disappointed but we just went and grabbed some food. It was too fun looking to sit there for over an hour. There were children of all ages and some adults as well who were mainly supervising but they looked like they were having fun. This was a really cool place and everyone was really nice. We will definitely be back. My son tried to say can we come back once a month, so I might look into a membership, honestly it's a great source of exercise for the children with all the running and jumping. I'd think this is the perfect place to take them a couple of hours before bed time so that they can sleep...
