Everything is going to not good!First of all, after we chose this restaurant, where there was a white tile on the dance floor, which made the hall bright and beautiful, after we had already given the second deposit, the owner of the restaurant, without warning us, made his changes in the hall, changed the floor from light to dark, which made the hall dark, despite the many windows. Maybe for someone it doesn't matter, for us it all changed for the worse. Second, we chose the female stable, the food was supposed to be delivered, if someone wanted more of a certain dish, they didn't just deliver more, they brought it the first time, and after half an hour, when people still continued to eat, they just started taking almost full plates from the table. I personally witnessed this, when the cabbage with sausages was still almost a whole plate left, the waitress came every three minutes and tried to take away a plate half filled with cabbage and sausages. And it was still sunny outside, despite the fact that the agreement was until 11 pm. That day I did not pay attention to this situation, with music and dancing, but the next day my immediate family began to prove to me that people were hungry, the bar where everything was paid was closed prematurely too. Coffee was almost taken right out of people's hands. I'm writing this here now but I won't stop there. It can't be that people paid and the owners and employees of the restaurant simply, to put it bluntly, simply did not do their job culturally. At the end they started turning off the lights and a policeman came and started poking his finger at the clock, saying that his working day was over and it was time for him to close the restaurant. I can understand everything, it's normal, the working day is over but you can somehow approach me as a mother and say culturally in advance, please, the time is coming, tell your people to gradually round up. Just rude treatment of people who paid in full to have a great wedding, received very bad negative service and a very unpleasant attitude towards themselves from the restaurant staff. The staff did not smile, they did their job with frowning faces, which carried a negative feeling when looking at them. Many of us were very, very unpleasantly impressed by the employees of this restaurant. Today, Monday, I had the opportunity to talk to the owner of this restaurant named Brian (he called himself the director of this restaurant) and all I understood from the conversation with him was that there is nothing there that would be aimed at satisfying visitors, but only at him and his money first. I did not feel or hear from him any anxiety about my situation that developed at my daughter's wedding, which I told him. All I understood from the conversation with him was that he has seven businesses and everything is going well... True, he offered me to have dinner on Mother's Day, by this he wanted to make up for everything that happened with 200 guests at the wedding of my daughter and her fiancé. Even if I wanted to have dinner on Mother's Day, I would never in his restaurant and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, all the others and never this one!!! The worst experience of my entire life was this restaurant! . All I suggest is, people, don't be silent when you have similar situations, because it's not you who benefit from this, but negative people like those who served my daughter's wedding. One NEGATIVE!!!, what a feeling this...

For over five decades, Wicker Park has been an integral part of my life, ever since I was a child. Its enduring presence in the area brings a sense of comfort and nostalgia. As I reminisce about the countless memories created within its boundaries, I can't help but appreciate the value it adds to the community.

Wicker Park serves as a sanctuary, a green oasis amidst the bustling urban environment. Its sprawling grounds offer a serene escape from the concrete and skyscrapers that dominate the surrounding landscape. It's a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, strolling along its pathways, enjoying the simple pleasure of nature's embrace.

One of the aspects that make Wicker Park truly special is its versatility. It caters to a wide range of interests and activities, ensuring there's something for everyone. From leisurely walks and picnics to more energetic pursuits, the park accommodates various preferences. The well-maintained trails invite visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the surroundings, while the open green spaces beckon for spontaneous games and sports.

Personally, Wicker Park holds a special place in my heart as it has been the backdrop for numerous family reunions throughout the years. Gathering beneath the shade of towering trees, we have shared laughter, stories, and cherished moments. The park's ample seating areas and designated picnic spots provide a comfortable setting for these joyous occasions, fostering a sense of togetherness and unity.

For those new to the area, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Wicker Park. It exemplifies the quintessential community park experience, offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Whether you choose to explore its meandering trails, engage in a friendly game of golf on the well-maintained course, or simply bask in the serenity of the surroundings, the park promises an enjoyable outing for individuals of all ages.

In conclusion, Wicker Park has stood the test of time, a testament to its enduring appeal and significance in the local community. It continues to be a beloved destination for residents and visitors alike, a place where cherished memories are created and a true haven within the city. So, if you find yourself in the area, make it a point to experience the charm of Wicker Park, immersing yourself in its natural splendor and partaking in the activities that bring joy...

I give it one star simply because it’s a beautiful park. The park office however, what a mess!! I called and talked to someone and they told me the hours and when they go to lunch. I called the day before going up there to double check the times and make sure someone was there when I showed up. I show up and am told that they are already at lunch (30 minutes before lunch) so of course I’m upset. I call up and leave a voicemail. I get a call back explaining they weren’t at lunch they got called out for a meeting. That’s okay accidents happen! I go up there again to pay for the spot I wanted, it was the morning this time and not afternoon and once again no one is there. My boyfriend calls and leaves a message stating we have been trying to book a stand and every time we go up there no one is there when they say they will be and if they could call us back with a time someone will actually be there. No call back from them. I will now be throwing my son’s birthday party out of my mom’s backyard. Someone should ALWAYS be in your office if those are the hours you are saying you will be there. I’m very upset and disappointed at the way the park office handled this and couldn’t stay true to their schedule or call back. Don’t want a reply or an excuse. Just do better...

The golf course is in disrepair. Fairway, rough, whats the difference? The tee boxes were a joke. The greens were largely in decent shape. We had a 7:00 am tee time. They began watering the course around 8:30 and we had to dodge sprinklers for the next two hours. Watering should be done well before your golfers are playing. I would list the number of area courses worth playing instead of this one, but I don't have time to list every other course by name in the area. Value is in the basement - a rip off compared to other area comparably priced courses.

Pretty nice park. Playground equipment could use a little TLC. The different little activities like gears to spend and whatnot are getting old and hard to see them. The zip line is dangerous. It's just a small metal handle you hang on to and then get dropped. Great way to break ankles 🙄 My 6 year old loved the seesaw the most and the rest of the playground. My 2 year old loved the playground too. Lots of different little areas to explore and trails to run around and tunnels to go through.

Everything from volleyball courts to a very nice path around the whole park. Also a golf course and range. Another thing is that they have live entertainment with food trucks and fireworks! We saw a Led Zeppelin tribute band called Kashmir and They were frickin AWESOME! Check out some of the videos I posted and You will hear how great They sound. Thanks Mr. Santos for making that happen.
