BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in North Township

NOTE: I revisited again and they improved...I was leaving the Emergency Vet and needed a coffee! I stopped in the drive-thru (which is still a very LONG wait, even with one car in front of me) - but I read about their Fall drinks and something about a Pumpkin w/Chai - since I don't enjoy straight pumpkin, I was hoping if it's mixed with something I would like it.

I got the large size - iced - pumpkin chai - they call it a "Chumpkin" - and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Although the wait time for this drink and the price being over $7 for a large is kinda an issue - they have improved in quality with this drink!

The service is still very friendly, although it's clear they are still learning the ropes and the drinks. I mean, there are so many varieties. I don't blame them for taking their time and looking up how to make the hundreds of different drinks they have.

Original review: I wanted to like this place! The coffee drinks I chose were the Butter Bear and the Owl. Both tasted similar, but not sweet enough or flavorful enough for me. Just like something was missing. The coffee wasn't very strong tasting either.

I also tried one of their bagel sandwiches. I had the turkey and havarti on asiago bagel. Not sure if my bagel was older or burnt, but it definitely had a bad taste to it and I wasn't impressed. The turkey was like lunchmeat, the bagel also had cream cheese plus havarti cheese. I wasn't aware there is cream cheese on them - it didn't say anything on the menu.

The service was something you can hardly complain about - this is a new place, opened for about a week, and the staff was super friendly and did their best with the crowds. I knew what to expect when I was going during opening week...but if you compare my photo of my sandwich to the others - something isn't right.

Maybe the more they work through things - everything will get better. But honestly, Biggby coffee did not impress me. It's a one and...

At first, I was only going to rate based on the service alone, but either the staff keeps messing up orders or the online ordering has some errors of its own. Because the last two times I have ordered the order has been wrong. I know when you go to the window and say extra cream cheese they put it on both sides of the bragel so I assumed ordering on the app would be the same thing but unfortunately both times I’ve ordered they only put it on one side. We also asked for extra egg, and there was only one piece. Next I would like to talk about the service, the first time I had an issue I was shocked it was right when he started taking mobile orders and I went through the drive-through to pick up my order the lady informed me that we are supposed to pick up inside even though the app didn’t save it and there was no sign. I was slightly embarrassed by the mistake and then inside I can hear the girls talking about it checking the app to see and saying that she should’ve told me to come inside and pick up the order. So I started coming in to pick it up and today I didn’t catch her name but I really wish I did. The girl sees me waiting by the pick up area and finally acknowledges me with an attitude and I say I’m picking up my order and she just pushes the items towards me and walked away. I thanked her, and now I regret it. She should’ve got the same energy from me that she gave me because she has poor customer service. If you hate your job just say so! next time I’ll just go to Starbucks. Your customer service is not worth another trip. I picked up my order at just about 1130 on May 18th if you wanna see who it was. Terrible. I spend way too much money here to be treated poorly like this. My order consisted of 3 Large Ice Latte's, 2 Chorizo Bragels, a Cookie, and a Bagel with Cream Cheese.

I was charged almost $42 for this order, and the sheer audacity to charge that for what I was given is repulsive. The only redeeming thing about the entire order was the cookie; it was soft and tasted good. All 3 coffee's (1 Teddy Bear and 2 Caramel Marvels) tasted burnt and were not good. The Bagels for the 2 Chorizo sandwiches were rubbery, and the Chorizo patty tasted a week old. The establishment doesn't even have the courtesy to construct the bagel with cream cheese for us, instead just throwing the bagel with a container of cream cheese into the bag for us to make ourselves.

The worst part of the bagel with cream cheese was undoubtedly the bottom piece of the bagel. It was a time frame of 6 minutes from picking up our order in the drive through to getting home and eating our food. The bottom of the bagel was hard enough to put a dent in my wooden door, as my mother tested by banging it against the door, which in turn echoed a loud thudding noise throughout the house. She has dentures so she wasn't even able to chew the bagel, and me with real teeth had great difficulty even considering it edible as well.

I will absolutely not be returning to this place to eat ever again, at risk of breaking the bank as well as breaking my teeth, I'll definitely turn to other establishments for convenience, price, and quality. Sorry if I had a bad experience and this place is actually pretty decent but this was the first and last...
