I visited your establishment two weeks ago and attempted to order a drink at the bar. Employee 1 behind the bar questioned the authenticity of my ID, stating it appeared fake and refusing to serve me. I assured him that my ID was legitimate and offered to have it scanned for verification. However, he chose not to scan it and instead asked a colleague who was golfing to inspect it. The colleague refused to look at it, and despite that, Employee 1 still denied me service, which I accepted.
When I returned two weeks later, I attempted to order a drink again, and a different employee reviewed my ID. Out of nowhere, Employee 1 reappeared and stated, "Don’t serve her. Her ID is fake." Employee 2 suggested another person examine the ID, but Employee 1 outright refused and took my ID, placing it in his drawer. I repeatedly requested its return, explaining that it was my valid ID. I only received it back after my boyfriend threatened to call the police.
This situation was frustrating, as it seemed that if someone appears young but is of legal age, their ID may be unfairly scrutinized and withheld. Additionally, when I attempted to file a complaint the following day and hoped to speak to a manager, the person I spoke with on the phone dismissed me by saying, "Call back later," and hung up.
I believe that if an employee is going to question the validity of an ID, they should be properly trained to distinguish between a fake...
Read moreThe blonde woman at the desk is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. Her exact words were “ I’m not speaking to you until you pay me” when I was asking if I could choose a specific bay to use. I could not believe what I was hearing. I looked at my friend in disbelief and even said “wow” and looked at her. My only comment during the entire process was how i prefer to hit off a certain mat, how could that lead to such disrespect. Maybe because i am 28 and she appeared in her 50-60s?(insert ok boomer comment here) Nonetheless i am completely perplexed as to why she displayed such behavior. I remember saying”I’ll just find somewhere else to play”, straight from the hip she replies “ good luck!”, And with a look of such disdain that i couldn’t help but let out another audible gasp. I come here twice a week during the winter. I recommended it to all of my friends that play. I still am shocked. I didn’t see any name tags on the employees, but she was the only woman there. I like to tell myself that her name is Karen, at least that would explain not only her hair, but also her attitude. I know your reading this right now Karen, and probably enjoying a good laugh, I’m sorry your life is that miserable that this is what you’ve...
