Norwalk Library — Attraction in Norwalk

There are definitely better libraries for quiet time and studying, but this place has a large selection and excellent and friendly staff. I'd say that this location is more of a "family library", meaning that they have lots of children's programs, that many children come in every day, and that the noise levels can exceed what you'd expect from a library setting. However, the noise level only really exceeds reasonable levels very occasionally, and it's usually because of the one parent who doesn't want to take their kids outside, or who are exhausted and think they can sic their kid on the poor souls of the library for a bit. You'll always have a chance of finding these people anywhere though, like the family who let their kids scream the whole time I was trying to enjoy a meal last week at my local burger joint. This is a good location with helpful staff, and will help you order materials if they don't have them in...

I grew up going to this library and never has it been so UNRULY as far as I can remember.

My experience today was very DISAPPOINTING. children were left UNATTENDED, running around, screaming, crying, huddling together at designated computer areas drawing. The lady I talked to basically told me there were other times i should try coming in and that it was just because of the time and the kids program.

Im sorry but i do not recall a library being a daycare and I should be able to come in whenever i please during library hours. It was very hard for me to focus on my work and employees are rude when telling customers their time is up...

I VISITED THIS LIBRARY ON SATURDAY , TO RENEW MY CARD AND USE A COMPUTER. BUT I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED , THE GUY ON THE FRONT DESK HAS NO SENSE OF SERVICE TO CLIENTS.. I TOKD HIM I NEVER USED A COMPUTER THERE AND JOW TO PROCEED AND ALL HE SAID TO POINT TO THE COMPUTERS AND NO HELP AT ALL.. I WENT TP WHEREHE POINTED AND ISAT AT THE WRONG ONE...
