SoCal Pizza is a standout spot for anyone craving delicious, California-inspired pies and flavorful wings. From the moment you step in, the laid-back vibe makes it clear that this place is all about quality and comfort food done right.
The pizza at SoCal Pizza is a delightful mix of fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative topping combinations. Their thin crust is perfectly crisp, yet still manages to hold up under the weight of generous toppings. The tomato sauce is tangy and well-seasoned, and the cheese is always gooey and melted to perfection. Whether you go for a classic Margherita, a loaded meat lover’s option, or one of their signature specialty pizzas, there’s something for every pizza lover. The balance of flavors and textures make each bite satisfying without feeling overwhelming.
But it’s their wings that really elevate the dining experience. These wings are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and are available in a range of mouth-watering sauces, from tangy buffalo to sweet and smoky BBQ, to more adventurous flavors like garlic parmesan or spicy sriracha. The sauce-to-wing ratio is just right—enough to coat each piece without making it soggy. They’re always served piping hot, and the seasoning is spot on, with just the right amount of heat and flavor to keep you coming back for more.
Both the pizza and wings are a perfect pairing for anyone looking for a casual meal, whether you’re dining in with friends or grabbing takeout. And the portion sizes are generous, offering great value for the price.
If you’re in the area and looking for a solid, no-fuss spot that serves up delicious pizza and top-notch wings, SoCal Pizza should be at the top of your list. It’s a true gem for satisfying cravings and enjoying a laid-back meal with...
Read moreMy husband and I went last night for a funeral service reception. First, the service was terrible. The "kids" working could not handle a full restaurant. No one came to check on us after our food was brought out. I couldn't flag anyone down to order a drink until we were done with our food. I paid an extra $1 for 2 sides of ranch that never came. When we were leaving, we paid and asked if we could get our 2 ranches to go since, after asking for someone to bring them twice, never came. They brought them with some boxes for our food. My husband and I only ate 3 slices of our Large meat lovers pizza and half our wings so we packed it up to go. We told the waitress she could clean up the other half of the table and we went to make our rounds to say bye to everyone. When we came back, our packed up food (nearly our whole meal that we paid $60 for) was gone. I asked the waitress and she said they threw it away because they thought we left. Why would your first thought be to throw away food that was packed up in to-go boxes?! What if I did leave but came back? We paid for food that we really didn't even get, especially the ranch we paid extra for that never even came. She just said sorry and that's it. No one offered us a replacement meal or anything. The food is good but the kids working there do not know a thing about customer service. I heard "sorry" about 7 times from the staff. That's...
Read moreDropped into SoCal Pizza for lunch with a group from work. The menu at SCP features a selection of pizza, pastas, and sandwiches, a decent selection. The establishment is a basic sports bar, a few video games and several flat screen TVs around the room, a long bar, and plenty of seating. The environment is oddly lit, dark in some spaces, spotlighted in others, a dive bar feeling, but not in a good way. However, the employees were friendly, courteous, and attentive. They add a great deal to an otherwise drab environment.
Onto the food, it's alright. I had a lunch special that consisted of a foot long meatball sandwich, a side salad, and a drink for $9, a decent value. The salad was good, everything you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary. The meatball was also rather middle of the road. It was better than a meatball from Subway, but not up to par with other quality meatball sandwiches I've enjoyed. The meatballs were a little under seasoned and I would have liked a little more of a solid crustiness on the bread.
Overall, a...
