Sri Venkateswara Temple & Cultural Center — Attraction in Novi

I visited the SV temple, Michigan with my family and friends on June 28th, primarily to talk to a priest, Gautam Acharya for him to perform a wedding for our nephew at their home in Dearborn Heights on Sunday, the 30th. We had an experience of heartfelt divinity as we entered the temple coming through a tree covered, green entrance and mild breeze that enhanced the ambience of the temple. The attendees were very nice and informative. After spending about an hour visiting the temple and discussing with the priest the details about the arrangements for performing the wedding of my nephew, we had a nice dinner at the Temple canteen. This review is only for priests and temple management. Archana will be performed only based on Priest's comfort ( Except for Giri Swamy and Murali Swamy). Volunteers have no idea if Archana will be performed but they issue tickets. There is no one to listen to our concerns at temple. All are volunteers only. I have been going to this temple from the past 8 years every Saturday and this is not new here.

My request to management, please remove the sign board that Archana will be performed every 20 min. Keep the sign board as Poojas will be performed based on priest's discretion. I am a devotee at the SV temple in Novi, MI and would like to share my spiritual experiences during the Sundara Kanda Parayanam this year, 2025. I attended all the days during which the Parayanam was held. The Parayanam was conducted by Priest Gautam Garu and his accurate recitation of the Parayanam with the most accurate transliteration after every chapter recitation of the Parayanam was truly devotional and spiritually mesmerizing. He indeed, did evoke Lord Hanuman during all of the days he recited the parayanam, and inspired all present in the audience to recite along with him.
