Update 5- 2025 We have now played a few soccer games at these fields. The field have good grass and drainage. All bathrooms were open and clean. The refs are fair. At U12 they seem to allow a little more banging into each other then at younger age groups. The kids are older, running faster, so makes sense. There for Soccer Tournament. Nice soccer field. It was wet but the fields were good. They appeared to be draining. Only one small bathroom open by the playground, even though there were 5 different soccer games going on. Also, one of the women's two stalls didn't have a door. For some reason the large bathroom by the Park Office was locked. The bathrooms were clean. Bathrooms were very clean and not smelly like most park bathrooms; when you have a kid with a chronic illness cleanliness is always a factor. There is a mini golf course and numerous ball fields to play at. Covered picnic areas were clean and even the birds waited till we were done eating before they came in and cleaned up our Crumbs! Read moreThis is a pleasant park for walking a dog. Never too busy. I occasionally pass other dog walkers, and otherwise the occasional jogger. Bikes are allowed on the paths but I seldom see them. This also has some superb soccer practice fields. As with any park in the Clarksburg area, there is dog poo but it isn't as bad as, say, the VA park. I have also never encountered a tick, where the VA park has many. Overall a nice park, and superb for walking, jogging, or dog walking in particular. Leash is required. Clean-up...
